Description
Escape to Saltaire, a charming waterfront retreat nestled on Dauphin Island’s sound side. This delightful beach house offers breathtaking views of both the Gulf and the sound, promising an unforgettable vacation for up to 10 guests.
Step inside Saltaire to discover a spacious common area, featuring a pet-friendly living space, water view dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. The small laundry room, equipped with a stacked washer/dryer combo unit, is conveniently located near the living room.
The SW King Suite boasts a comfortable king bed, dedicated closet, dresser, and private bathroom with a shower tub combo. Accessible from this suite, a door leads to the laundry room for added convenience. The east side jack-and-jill suite features a king bed in the southern room with a dedicated closet, while the northern bunk room offers a full-over-full bunk bed and dedicated closets. The jack and jill bathroom features a shower stall.
Outside, the wrap-around porch offers a covered sitting area facing the sound side, where guests can relax and enjoy the tranquil views. An outdoor dining area overlooks the private beach, providing the perfect setting for alfresco meals. Additionally, the porch features a grill and a small sitting area facing the Gulf side.
Beneath the house, guests will discover a hidden gem—a small storage area perfect for beach accessories. But that’s not all; a swing and hammock offer the ideal spot to unwind while enjoying breathtaking views of the private beach on the sound side.
Saltaire’s location on the sound side offers guests access to a private beach with gentler waters and a shallow slope, making it ideal for families with young children to splash and play safely. Or, you can enjoy a short drive to one of Dauphin Island’s public beaches and relax on the bright sandy beach of the Gulf of Mexico. As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note:
Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. Only dogs, must be approved by insurance policy—2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax.
Parking Instructions
The property has a driveway and parking for several cars. All overflow must be parked at Green Park next to Ship & Shore. Gulf side beach access via streets and courts only – you can park on these streets with a parking pass. Do not walk between houses. The nearest beach access will be Sam Houston or Sehoy which is a half mile in either direction. Thank you!

The lot across the street has been sold. Guests can go to Sehoy St or Sam Houston St to access the gulf. We provide parking passes in the house for you to fill in the details so you can park on the street without being ticketed.
