Whether you are surf fishing, watching dolphins roll by, or relaxing on the wide deck, this home delivers the laid-back island experience guests return for year after year.
Step inside to an open living area filled with natural light and coastal character. Built-in wooden shelving frames the entertainment center, creating a warm and inviting space to unwind after beach time. Shades of soft blue and sandy neutrals tie the room together, and tiled flooring throughout keeps the home cool and easy to maintain.
The kitchen is designed for convenience with light wood cabinetry, granite countertops, and modern appliances. Plenty of counter space, a floating island, and a fully outfitted cookware set give you everything needed to prepare meals for your group. The dining table seats six with ocean views, making shared meals feel relaxed and effortless.

Off the Hook sits in one of Dauphin Island’s most sought-after locations, giving you more privacy, fewer crowds, and a true toes-in-the-sand experience right outside your door.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Off the Hook was AMAZING!
This was our first time on Dauphin Island but it will not be our last. We were greeted with no traffic, beautiful beaches and no crowds. Off the Hook house is fantastic! It was very clean (absolutely no sand on the floors!) The back deck is great with plenty of chairs for lounging. Large kitchen table with 8 chairs plus 3 bar stools. Kitchen was well equipped (minus a colander/strainer). Overall, I give Off the Hook 5 stars because we really had no complaints. I also give Dauphin Island Beach Rentals 5 stars because they were excellent. Our first night, we noticed the outside bulbs were blown on the back deck. I texted the number that had been texting me with updates and they immediately texted back (usually you have to call but they actually text you back!) They had a maintenance person there within 2 hours to replace the bulbs. Any questions I had before and during our stay, they immediately responded. We were very impressed with their customer service.

I loved the location of the house. The area is not as congested with houses as some of the other areas where there are rentals. I also liked the set up of the house with the 2 rooms and a bathroom on each side of the house. Nice for groups that do not keep same sleep schedule, which is my normal when traveling with my teens. The house was clean. The host was very responsive and helpful when I had questions.

Property was exactly what we imagined it to be. Love the right on the beach location with a very private beach front. Issues were addressed quickly when we mentioned needing gas for the grill. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Dauphin Island. It was very peaceful. The house was in a wonderful spot right at the water like we wanted. We loved being able to bring our fur babies. They loved the beach. We do plan to visit again 🥰

Are their chairs for the beach there or should we bring our own- we’ve always stayed at beach club condos- this will be our first time at a beach house. So I’m not sure what to expect

Beach chairs are not provided, although, they are often donated by guests. We leave them as long as they appear to be in good condition.

Amazing location, beautiful quiet beaches, clean and functional house
We really enjoyed our stay at Off the Hook. The house was clean, the deck was amazing, and the beaches were beautiful and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cookware and serve ware. The living area was very comfortable and has a big TV, good for those rainy day movies. DIBR communicated very well throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend this location.

Hello. We have never stayed in this area. Can you please let me know if the beaches are crowded like Gulf shores or are they less crowded? We plan to try to come in June.
