Description
Cast Away is a spacious 4-bedroom beach house, elevated 22′ with a great gulf view from the end of Pushmataha Ct. The living room has beautiful vaulted ceilings with exposed trusses and butted door casing giving an open architectural space to decompress and unwind into your beach vacation. It is fitted with great decor, modern furnishings, and a large TV to settle in at night if you are not out walking our beautiful beaches.
There are three queen bedrooms and one king master, for excellent sleeping throughout. Two of the bedrooms enjoy a gulf view and all are well-lit and comfortable. Come to cast away your worries at Cast Away on Dauphin Island!
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
Parking Instructions
Parking for 4+ cars in driveway. Can walk to gulf Beach by crossing Bienville blvd and walking down Pushmataha (3-minute walk).

It was spacious for three generations of six people allowing them have their own bedroom.
It was very useful especially when we had to stay at home due to the adverse weather.

Approx how far is the “beach access “ in terms of distance & time. Also, does your property management have recommendations for gulf cart rental for on the island ?

It is less than a quarter mile or a 3 minute walk to the beach from Cast Away. You will leave the driveway and walk across Bienville Blvd to Pushmataha. Once on Pushmataha, you will walk to the very end and the beach will be directly in front of you. Please do not cross through other properties when heading to the beach. At this point in time, there are 3 companies on the island that offer golf cart rentals; Island Time Cart Rentals, Island Fun Rentals, and Beach Shack. All 3 companies do an amazing job of serving their customers.

This place was spacious and beautifully decorated. The have a fully stocked kitchen with lots of seating. All of the beds were very comfortable. We had an awesome time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely stay there again.

I live in Mobile, only 44 minutes away from Dauphin Island, so it’s usually my go-to for day trips to the beach. This was my first time actually staying on the island as a tourist, and I loved every moment of it. Cast Away is as beautiful as the photos suggest. It’s such a comfortable place, and the gorgeous beach is just a short walk away. We cooked every meal in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. We only had one issue, which was with the garbage disposal, but Dauphin Island Beach Rentals quickly replaced it. It would be nice to have a fish-cleaning station downstairs, but other than that I can’t think of anything else that was missing. I highly recommend Chaise and Ray’s, a local business that will set up chaise lounges and a beach umbrella on the beach and have it ready for you at 9 a.m. I booked it completely online. All of us really enjoyed our stay at this beach house, and I hope to book it again in the future.

This was our second time visiting Dauphin Island and we loved Cast Away! DIBR is very responsive and kind. The WiFi went out and they had someone within an hour to fix it. Everything was great! Cast Away is beautifully decorated and have everything you need. Will stay at Cast Away again, if we go back to Dauphin.

When we arrived it was easy to access entering the place. It was beautiful and clean when we entered and very spacious. The master was amazing with great shower pressure. The other bedrooms were decent size and cozy. The area was quiet and we felt safe while staying there. The beach was a short walk and very private. The kids would have liked it a little more if it was busier, however, I felt it was relaxing. +
I would definitely recommend going to the store before you get there. The one we went to was very over priced and limited choices. They had quite a few gift shops and boutiques on the island. It is beautiful and very quiet. The aquarium was decent and we took the ferry to Orange Beach for the day.
Our overall stay was wonderful. As far as the place we stayed, it was wonderful. A few more kitchen items were needed, measuring spoons comes to mind, But, who really bakes on vacay(we do, lol) I would recommend taking the beach items you need as well( I was informed of this)

We loved staying at this welcoming cozy home. The master bed was so comfortable and every room decorated so pretty. Loved that the beach was so close just a few minutes from the home. The beach not crowded.
Not too much stores or restaurants around the Island, had to drive 40 minutes. However that wasn’t much of a problem, we cooked meals in the wonderful spacious kitchen. Thanks again!

The place was absolutely wonderful! It was great to have an outdoor grill and the rooms were a good size for all guests. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Dauphin Island. We unfortunately had bad weather so could not utilize the beach but happy we had a great place to stay if we had to be indoors.
