Description
West Beach is a great four-bedroom beachhouse located right on the sandy Gulf of Mexico Beach, with direct Gulf views from nearly every room. There are no streets to cross, no houses between you and the water, this house is only a few steps from the shore.
Please note that the shoreline of Dauphin Island Beaches regularly shifts inward and outward. Properties at the shoreline will experience wave action. Guests will be able to hear the waves and feel the house move. This is normal and should be expected for any home on pilings.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
10. Cargo lifts are not available to guests and can not be used. They are not permitted by Home Owner Insurance Policies.

The driveway can accommodate 3 cars. Free overflow parking at Green Park next to Ship N Shore.

Great communication from the hosts. Dauphin Island has lots to do and a very interesting history. We really enjoyed the experience.

The property was amazing. Sitting on the deck looking out at the ocean. The house is so close to the water it gives you the feeling of being on a cruise ship without all the people. We saw Dolphins every day of our stay. It was definitely peaceful and is what we needed to relax from our to fast paced busy life.

This home is directly on the water with the most beautiful views! The home is represented very well on line. We walked in and it was exactly what we expected. The water breaks against the wall and is quite loud but that didn’t bother us. We loved it! The additional VRBO fees were pretty high. You just need to pay attention and know what you are paying! We absolutely loved it and would recommend this home to anyone!!

The view from the deck was amazing right on the water. The deck was also great for the dogs they loved it. Beach access was very convenient, and close by. Fishing was great from the property as well. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend to anyone for there next stay.

Great place right on the Gulf. House was clean and well laid out. We had a great time. Only issue was the lack of an internet connection. 5G cell phone access compensated somewhat. Dish tv worked fine.

Property was clean, and as described. Location on west end was fantastic! We especially loved the back deck and dolphins swimming by every morning. It was nice that the back deck didn’t have any access other than through the house, because our dogs were able to enjoy lounging on the deck with us. Our kids loved the themed bedrooms. Being critical, the grill and dishwasher racks were rusted out and needing to be replaced, and a better way to rinse sand off and not track it into the house would have been helpful. Overall, not an issue that would keep us from choosing this property again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay!!! It’s amazing to feel the waves as they hit the seawall and the sound is so relaxing. We loved fishing off the seawall at night. Being so far out in the ocean, is a whole different beach experience!! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you for an amazing trip.
The only problem we had was the dishwasher wouldn’t work (could have been operator error) and the master shower would drain super slow. Neither issue would deter us from renting it again!!

The pictures do not do the house justice! The location was great, hearing the waves especially at night and waking up to them was the best form of therapy. Being at this house was exactly what I needed to recharge mentally. It was my dogs first time at the coast, he really enjoyed the balcony and simply looking out. I was able to capture so many memories. Everything was great, there is not one thing I would improve. I hope to visit again sometime in the near future.

My favorite location on DI ! We really loved the deck over the water . We enjoyed seeing birds , dauphins , sting rays and tiger fish . Great house for a large family or even two couples the way it’s set up .

We stayed here a couple years ago and loved this place. Looking to reserve it for the first week of July. Trying to understand the cancellation policy. If we book it now and decide to cancel before 60 days before arrival, we only $100 fee. If we cancel after 60 days before arrival, we lose 100% of the money. Is that correct?
