Description
Tropical Paradise is a 4 bedroom / 3 bath home on the sandy, north-side beach of the Mississippi Sound (Mobile Bay). It is also a very short walk to the Gulf beach, yet you have the north beach right outside your back door to enjoy swimming, kayaking, boating and fishing. 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths are located on the first level. The fourth bedroom with a full bath is located on the second level, in a loft. This property is pet friendly.
Gulf Beach access is 1/2 mile from the end of your driveway!
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission, only dogs less than 30 pounds – approved by insurance policy. 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per dog per stay plus tax applies.
Parking Instructions
The property has a driveway and parking for several cars. All overflow must be parked at Green Park next to Ship & Shore. Gulf side beach access via streets and courts only – you can park on these streets with a parking pass (we will provide). Do not walk between houses. The closest access point is St. Stephens St (will use on way to the property). Beach access is 0.5 miles.

Our family just returned from the most incredible stay at this Dauphin Island beach house, and we’re already counting down the days until we can go back. This trip was exactly what we needed to reconnect and bond as a family. We spent hours having great late-night conversations, and witnessing the breathtaking sunsets and sunrises from the property was a highlight of each day.
The house itself was fantastic – comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a true home away from home. The location is simply unbeatable, with the water practically at your back door! We especially loved having such easy access to the bay water area. It was absolutely perfect for our family, providing a safe and enjoyable space for the kids to play. Watching the tides change throughout the day was also a fascinating experience.
More than just a vacation, this trip created lasting memories for our family. We didn’t want to leave the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings.

What an amazing stay. Dauphin island isn’t a heavy tourist location. There isn’t 50 souvenirs shops. It is a place to relax, a place that you can enjoy slowing down. We found something to do every day. Going to the aquarium on a rainy day or going to Mobile a short drive to tour the USS Alabama. But what was the most fun was hanging out with Joey and Liz with Slaty Dog rental and jet skiing with dolphins and sting rays. The cottage was a little dated but perfect for what we needed.

Property as described. We wanted a quiet winter week by the water. It is exactly what we got. Quick tip, the spray hose is by the front door. Primarily use that door to keep sand out.
