Description
When you arrive, you will be welcomed in this bright, airy bayfront house. Gorgeous skies, horizons filled with sunsets and sunrises, and the stars at night light up the sky. This home sits on a corner of the street with an unobstructed view of the bay and bay bridge in the distance. The large porch on the front of the house also has a partial gulf view. There is a sandy bayside beach right next door to the house for the kids. The gulf beach is an easy walk from St. Stephens Street. You can also kayak directly from the property—a great place to ride your bike. Bring your fishing poles and fish from the front of the property.
Inside the home, the family room off the kitchen has seating for 8 people and seating for four at the counter. Windows surround the spacious family room for wonderful bay views. The owner’s suite is on the main level with a view of the bay and the Dauphin Island Bridge. On the main level are two other bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and another with a queen. The second floor has two guest rooms. One guest room has a king bed, and the other room has one queen bed, both with bay views. All rooms are over-sized, you will have plenty of space to unwind, read, rest and relax.
Gulf Beach access is 0.2 miles from the end of your driveway!
You are sure to love this bayfront location. Bring the family and start making memories. After a fun-filled day, sit back and relax on the large deck and take in the breathtaking Dauphin Island sunsets. Dauphin Island, the Sunset Capital of Alabama!
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. Only dogs, must be approved by insurance policy— 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 per dog per stay pet fee plus tax.
Parking Instructions
The property has a driveway and parking for several cars. All overflow must be parked at Green Park next to Ship & Shore. Gulf side beach access via streets and courts only – you can park on these streets with a parking pass (we can provide). Do not walk between houses. The closest access point is St. Stephens St. It is a 0.2 mile walk to the gulf side beach.

This property was amazing. As soon as we walked in the door, we were met with the most amazing view of the water out the back windows. The place was very clean and clearly maintained very well. The beds were very comfortable. Opening the windows to allows the breeze to flow through was fantastic feeling. We arrived on an extremely windy after noon to find the propane grill had blown over. We communicated this so they would know. They immediately responded offering to send a replacement if the one on-site was damaged. This was the kind of service we received during our entire stay. First class. They made us feel like we were stars….. and speaking of stars, the view at night was absolutely breathtaking. Will definitely book again.

Overall, this was an great stay. The management company was 1st class. The views of the sunset were awesome, the house was well maintained, the furniture was quite comfortable, the amenities such as TV, games, were great, and the kitchen appliances worked better than expected. For my parents who spent most of their time upstairs, it was a great place to enjoy the weather, the views, and the beach environment. It was right by the beach, overlooking it in fact, and if it hadn’t been for the old wood and metal dock debris in the water presenting fishing hazards in front of the decaying sea wall, it would have been a great fishing spot as well. Like I said the furniture upstairs was great and comfortable but also the furniture on the deck was good too and contributed to our enjoyment. Great views of the other docks. The furniture on the lower level however should be retired. One of the chairs was already broken and another broke through normal use; maybe salt water damage. Overall however, we had a great time and these issues I mention were minor compared to the great experience we had at the property. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed the area. The beach and bay public access was easy walking distance. The weather didn’t cooperate and we had some flooding on the island but we still enjoyed the stay.

The house is 5 bedrooms the layout and open floor plan of this property is great for big families. The weather was a bit cool but we were able to sit on the porch at the bayside of the house and enjoy the view with out the wind. I would definitely recommend this property.

My 1st time staying in a house on the bay. It was extraordinary! The sunsets were even more extraordinary! Everything about this house is delightful. The location , has a sandy shore right next to it and just across the street from the ocean; the size , very spacious , very well stocked ; the decor beautifully decorated in every room, everything is up to date ; the design of the house, very well laid out , has an awesome deck Out back with plenty of sitting and lounge chairs.
I absolutely have not one complaint and I would love to definitely come back again soon! Just a great experience !

Best House on The Island
We have been staying at Tramarlis for over 10 years. Feels like our home away from home! House is comfortable with everything you need and a very responsive host. Fabulous location on bay with the best sunset on the island!!

Is there any beach equipment (cooler, chairs, umbrellas, etc) that are available at the house for use?

Beach chairs are not provided, but are often donated by guests. We leave them as long they appear to be in good condition.

I can’t say enough great things about this house. This house has so much room to just enjoy yourself, it’s so comfortable and relaxing. This house gave me and my family everything from fishing just from the back of it to fun on the beach right next to it. It was so amazing to be there.
