Located on Dauphin Island with direct bay access, a private dock, and a spacious wraparound deck, this second-floor retreat is an ideal choice for anglers, boaters, bird watchers, and anyone looking to enjoy the quieter side of the island.

Step inside to a bright, open living space where large sliding glass doors frame beautiful bay views and lead directly to the deck. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow together seamlessly, creating a comfortable space to gather, relax, and enjoy time together.
The kitchen is both stylish and functional, featuring white shaker cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a mosaic tile backsplash in soft coastal tones. A breakfast bar provides additional seating, making it easy to stay connected while preparing meals.
The living room offers comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere for movie nights or unwinding after a day on the water. A wet bar with a freestanding ice maker adds convenience for entertaining and keeping drinks cold after a day in the sun.
Light wood tone flooring and soft coastal colors throughout the home create a clean, modern feel, while the open layout keeps everything connected.
Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 6):
• SE King Suite – King bed, TV, walk-in closet with washer and dryer, direct access to shared Jack and Jill bathroom
• SW Bunk Room – Two twin over twin bunk beds
• Additional Sleeping – Living area accommodates up to 2 guests

• Jack and Jill Bathroom – Connects the king suite and common area, featuring a walk-in shower with an overhead skylight
Outdoor living is the centerpiece at Tipsy Seagull. The expansive wraparound deck offers multiple seating areas, making it easy to enjoy morning coffee, outdoor meals, or sunset views over the bay.
The private dock is set up with boaters and anglers in mind, featuring a boat slip, fish cleaning station, solar lighting, and flood lights for added visibility during early morning departures or late night returns. Guests can also take advantage of charter services that can pick you up directly from the dock, making it incredibly convenient to plan fishing trips or guided excursions without leaving the property.
This home is also a great spot for wildlife viewing. Bring your binoculars and enjoy watching pelicans dive for fish just off the dock, along with ospreys and even eagles as they hunt over the water. Guests often see fish jumping in the canal, and in the right conditions, dolphins may pass through as well.
Kayaks are available for exploring the surrounding waters at your own pace, and a golf cart is available on site for rent during your stay. The cart includes simple on-vehicle instructions, making the rental process easy and hassle-free for getting around the island.
For beach days, public Gulf access is just a short distance away, giving you the option to enjoy both calm bay waters and the white sand beaches of the Gulf.

Tipsy Seagull is conveniently located near the heart of Dauphin Island. The nearby Audubon Bird Sanctuary is a must visit for birding enthusiasts, offering trails and diverse coastal habitats. Local restaurants, shops, and attractions like Fort Gaines and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab are also within easy reach.
This home is pet-friendly, making it a great option for guests traveling with their dogs.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. Only dogs, must be approved by insurance policy— 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax.
Parking Instructions
Parking at the Property:
Guests have access to convenient on-site driveway parking with room for multiple vehicles. This bayside property also offers easy access for boating and waterfront activities, with canal access and dock space available for guests bringing a boat.
Walking Access to the Beach:
This home is located on the bayside (sound side) of Dauphin Island. Guests can walk to the Middle Beach and Bienville Beach public beach areas in about 10 minutes.
Driving to Public Beaches:
If you prefer to park at the beach, Dauphin Island offers four public beach areas:
• East End Beach
• Middle Beach
• Bienville Beach
• West End Beach
Parking is paid; however, once you pay at any one location, your pass is valid at all four public beaches for the rest of the day. This allows you to easily move between beach areas to find the best conditions or a quieter spot.
