The first floor boasts four bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, an open floor plan that includes a kitchen, dining room, and living room, as well as a dedicated laundry room. The second floor offers versatile sleeping arrangements with five full beds, complemented by a wet bar, a sitting area with a large TV, and two charming window nooks. The outdoor oasis, complete with a private and heated pool on the back deck, invites you to savor the coastal breeze, making this residence a haven for both relaxation and entertainment—a true gem for those seeking a refined coastal lifestyle on Dauphin Island.
Access to the Gulf of Mexico is .3 miles away from The Anchored Lighthouse or enjoy your own private beach on Dauphin Island’s sound side right in your backyard.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you! The pool is heated from October thru April.
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
Parking Instructions
The driveway will accommodate 5 vehicles. The house is located on the bayside beach and the gulf side beach is a 1-minute walk across the street down Seneca Ct.

The Anchored Lighthouse does have a ramp that may make it easier for wheelchair, walker, and cane users to get inside the property, but this property is not defined as handicapped accessible.

There is no bathroom on the second floor at The Anchored Lighthouse. It does offer a little coffee bar upstairs.

There is no bathroom upstairs but there is a 5th bathroom downstairs with a large shower equipped with plenty of towels for guest staying upstairs .

This was a beautiful house! Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and the kids were able to have their own space upstairs. The kids also really enjoyed the pool and it was a great way to spend time with everyone. The ramp and wagon were our most practical uses during the week and was a total godsend! The kids also really enjoyed going to check the crab trap. We even got to see dolphins from the front porch. Overall everyone enjoyed their stay and would come back again in the future!

I booked this house for my bachelorette weekend. It was PERFECT! We had our own beach and pier – they’ve added a bunch of outdoor lounge furniture on the deck which made lounging poolside very comfy! We saw dolphins right at our dock on our last day – it was just magical and perfect and we are excited to make it an annual trip! THANK YOU!!

This is a great property. We loved having a ramp to get in, my father with mobility issues was able to walk up the ramp. We also appreciated a wagon to pull our stuff up the ramp.
The kitchen was nice and big, fully equipped. Open concept made it a great space for us to gather. Four main bedrooms were located on the main level, which made it easy for everyone.
Loved the views from both the front and the back. Very Peaceful!

The house offered plenty of indoor space for our family and a lot of outdoor space. It was cold and clear when we were there so the beach was less of an attraction. But the area between the house and the Sound was fun for all kinds of ball sports. The volleyball net allowed for a few intense games among siblings. It was also great to stroll out to the end of the dock and enjoy the nice view. We only went to the Gulf side twice: once to the west end public park that was about a mile down the road, and once to the far eastern side of the island for a beautiful sunset. The heated pool was another highlight. The kids loved the opportunity to swim outdoors in January and it was warm enough for a few adults to go in. The bunk room upstairs is very spacious. Despite a range of ages, the kids in that room were happy. The four main bedrooms were especially nice and comfortable. Also, no problems with hot water, wifi, the TVs or the appliances. The kitchen included plenty of cookware and utensils and we were able to easily prepare several meals. We chose the house because it was one of the biggest properties available and we liked the low-slope ramp for our oldest family member. Also, we felt that the Sound-side location was better for us. Overall, it was an easy stay in a recently-built and beautiful house that was perfect for our family get-together.

We so enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for all extended family to have plenty of room. Going to a rental property for Thanksgiving, you don’t know how the kitchen will be stocked. This kitchen had everything we needed and then some for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. All I can say is WOW! everything was PERFECT!! Comfortable, spacious, clean – everything you need in a rental property to have a wonderful vacation!

Amazing house. We all loved it. Was surprised and impressed with how stocked the kitchen was with being a new house. Loved the short walk to the beach. There were plenty of pool toys that we never got out the ones we had brought with us. Had a few beach chairs/toys. The grill was out of gas first couple of nights we were there and they replaced it quickly.

This home is beautiful and perfect for large families or small groups. With 4 large bedrooms each with a bathroom and an entire upstairs with 5 more beds it was comfortable for the 9 of us. The pool and deck were fantastic and the huge deck ramp was a plus. The dock was nice and we saw dolphins swim not 10 feet away from us. The only downside to the island is the food wasn’t great with the exception of the Lighthouse bakery which was fantastic. We would stay at this house again for sure.
