Description

Sun Spot is a beautiful 4 bedroom / 3 bath, Gulf-front house on the West End of Dauphin Island, and is nearly identical to its popular sister house. This gulf front home has 4 bedrooms / 3 baths. It has both a covered and uncovered gulf side deck plus a covered sound facing deck.

Dauphin Island is very laid back, non-commercialized island, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery, several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks.>
The island is accessible by bridge from I-10 and I-65. Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan is only a few miles away & is accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip).

For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, play a round of golf at the Isle Dauphine gulf-front course, view birds and wildlife, explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach or at the long gulf-front fishing pier, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or just plain relax.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Monday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

Parking Instructions

The property does not have a driveway. Place copy of the rental agreement on the dash of car and park on Vargas Ct. Can accommodate two cars. Free overflow parking at Green Park next to Ship N Shore.

      Sorry, Dauphin Island has a town ordinance prohibiting any open fires.

      No, it’s only meant to mean that children 2 and under do not count against your occupancy limit. They are certainly welcome!

      I can always ask, however I can not guarantee. They usually do not accept them for a reason such as allergies or something in that nature.

      No, you park on Vargas Ct, with the side street that approaches the west side of the property. Two vehicles max. That street is crushed concrete and navigable by 2WD.
