Description
Strand Castle is a Gulf-front house with an ideal beach house layout- 4 bedrooms, a Game Room overlooking the Gulf in the 4th bedroom, a small, private pool, and roof-top Crow’s Nest. It’s easy to see why this beach house is one of Dauphin Island’s most popular vacation rentals.
This elevated, two-story home has a Master Suite on the first level with a private full bath. There is also a half-bath off the kitchen. The Great Room is large, open, and has a flat-screen TV over the fireplace. The Second Level has three bedrooms, two of which share a Jack and Jill half bathroom with a shower. There is a third full bathroom on this level and a Game Room (great for night time or rainy days). The game room is also the 4th bedroom and has a bunk bed and sleeper sofa. The rooftop has a Crow’s Nest, which provides panoramic views of the Island.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25 and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet friendly.
Parking Instructions
The property has a driveway that can fit 2 cars. Free overflow parking is available at Green Park next to Ship N Shore.

This was our best beach trip ever. The house and pool is great but being able to just walk down the steps to the beach would have been enough. Would definitely recommend this house.

Strand Castle is a gulf front home. It sits directly in front of the water. There is a propane grill at the property for our guests to enjoy. The porch that overlooks the gulf is partially covered by the small deck above. It is not a true covered deck.

This home had everything that we needed. The location was perfect and exactly what we were hoping for. The views were beautiful and the oceanfront allowed us to enjoy the water and sand whenever we wanted. It was peaceful and relaxing! Would definitely visit again.

The property has a driveway throughout most of the year. It is subject to being washed out when storms occur. In the event that there is not one, parking is still very close on Strand Ct while we are waiting on a new one to be installed. This is typical of gulf front homes. Thank you! DIBR
