Description
Southern Breeze is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, Gulf Front elevated beach house with unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico.
This family friendly, pet friendly rental is a place where you can expect to spend quality time with your loved ones while watching the waves roll in from an extra large partially covered gulf side deck (47’x16′). Southern Breeze has a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, etc…) and house linens (bath and hand towels, sheets, etc…) are provided.
The SE bedroom has a King Size Bed with walkout sliding glass doors leading the gulf side deck. It has a 32′ flat screen TV/DVD combo. The east bedrooms have Jack-and-Jill bathroom that is shared between both rooms. The NE bedroom has two twin beds, a 22′ flat screen TV/DVD combo. The SW bedroom has a King Size Bed and also has sliding glass door leading to the gulf side deck. The NW spare bedroom has a queen size bed and a 22′ flat screen TV/DVD combo mounted to the wall. The common bathroom is located between the SW King room and the NW Full bedroom, featuring a shower. There is additional sleeping for 2 in the living room on a futon. All rooms have independent satellite TV units.
Please note that the shoreline of Dauphin Island Beaches regularly shifts inward and outward. Properties at the shoreline will experience wave action. Guests will be able to hear the waves and feel the house move. This is normal and should be expected for any home on pilings.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
10. Cargo lifts are not available to guests and can not be used. They are not permitted by Home Owner Insurance Policies.
Parking Instructions
The property does not have a driveway. Place copy of the rental agreement on the dash of car and park on right side of Vaca Ct, one behind the other. Can accommodate two cars. Free overflow parking at Green Park next to Ship N Shore.

We could live on the deck of the Southern Breeze! We love that you can bask in the Sun but also enjoy some shade because of the open and covered areas of this large deck! My adult children loved this house being able to walk right into the gulf, however, I did not like being right in the water. I like having some sand beach in between. We had a few hiccups but JS replied right away and were amazing! We have been vacationing at Dauphin Island for a few years now and will continue to do so! We love this place to get away and will be back!

Beautiful home, perfect location. The only complaint we have is the mattresses. They were all very hard. Other than that we made do with what was available and had the best time. We really enjoyed the deck over the water and the view. It was perfect and we’re still talking about our trip and wishing we were there!

We had a great stay. The waves crashing underneath the back deck was amazing. We watched dauphins every morning swimming by. Walked for miles picking up shells. And caught lots of fish at west end beach. It was a great vacation!!

We had an amazing stay! The location and view couldn’t be any better, literally right on the sand. You really can’t get any closer to the water, and waking up to the sound of the waves was unforgettable. The house was spacious and comfortable.
Being so close to the beach made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day with our children. We visited the aquarium and Lighthouse Bakery during our stay. Both highly recommend!
We loved every minute and would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice and it was cool on/in water. We usually stay on bayside! Was disappointed that there were no, zero, spices or salt pepper! Luckily i did bring some. Also, need a reuseable coffee pod for people expecting a regular coffee pot! Just acouple of suggestions! Enjoyed place very much!

First timers on Dauphin Island and it did not disappoint! Loved the atmosphere of this home and the entire island! Check in was super easy. Communication with DIBR was nice. They answered every question or concern I had promptly. Love that the beach is literally underneath you. So only a few steps out and you’re at the water!

The house was awesome. Checkin is easy. The house is ON the water. Being in January, I knew that things are a gamble. You never know what the temperature will be. The management company is awesome. We had an issue with extreme rising tides and they came to my rescue (cars rescue from getting too wet). This was done well after working hours. They seem to be always available.

Very close to west end beach, right in the water. The house was very clean other than a few little scuffs on the walls. The only negative thing we noticed was one of the boards on the porch is getting a bit soft and probably will need replaced soon. Would definitely stay here again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our Momcation. The home and the beach were perfect for us! When we first got to the property, there was trash around the stairs, and kids beach toys and lawn chairs on the balcony, so it made us think we were at the wrong location. We called the host, and immediately got an answer. She confirmed we were at the correct location and the cleaners must have left those things from the previous stay. Once we got in the home, everything was as described, and perfect for us. The beach balcony is large, and having a partial covering allows for sun/no sun. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing time staying in this beach home! Very peaceful, beautiful sunsets, tons of seashells, lots of sunshine, the island people were so friendly, and when we were on the beach in front of the house we felt like we had the island to ourselves! Will DEFINITELY be back!

What a lovely home to spend quality time with family! Literally on the beach or perhaps in the ocean during high tide. Amazing views, soothing ocean sounds, incredible deck and an overall relaxing atmosphere. It was also wonderful that our dog could join us on vacation as well. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen cooking utensils, etc.

Pretty awesome place, we would definitely stay again. The only thing that might cause some hesitation is there is ONLY sand. From the road till you hit the bottom step to the rental. Only sand lol

Beach chairs and umbrellas are not officially supplied, although, they are often donated by guests. We will leave them so long as they appear in good condition. There are also places on the island to buy or rent both.

Our stay here was amazing the house was nice and clean. Amazing view. Loved being able to fish off the deck in the mornings. I would definitely stay here again!!! Perfect size for 3 adults and 4 kids and a dog. 🙂 😀

For this property, you would park on Vaca Ct. Park on the right side of the street. Property will accommodate two vehicles. If you have more, you can always leave vehicles at Green Park in the middle of the island as well. Thanks, DIBR

Amazing!
Southern Breeze at Dauphin Island is amazing. The house was clean and comfortable. The large deck over the ocean is nice for traveling with your dog. Adam was great to work with for our accommodation. I would recommend Dauphin Island Beach for your travel needs.
