Description
Serenity by the Sea is a large 5 BR / 4.5 Bath beach house on the very edge of the Gulf of Mexico! The main living space offers a stunning 180-degree view of the Gulf of Mexico, where you will be enveloped by light and our Gulf Coast’s sandy white beaches.
The beachfront porch has both a shaded area and a massive sun deck to catch the rays or look up at the stars at night while you listen to the waves and enjoy the breezy salt air.
The bedrooms are spread out over three stories with great space throughout for your family and friends to spread out and relax into your beach vacation.
The 2024 beach restoration has restored the beach to its natural beauty, giving you a vast new beach to relax and play on. The beaches and dunes have been restored, but the dune walkovers are still being constructed. Beachgoers are asked to go to the eastern end of the Audubon Place beach to access the beach. Walking over the dunes will result in a fine.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

This house was absolutely stunning! Everything was in great condition. There was so much space for our group of 5 adults and 6 children. The house is so close to the beach we didn’t have to stress about forgetting anything back at the house when it was beach time because we could easily run back to grab whatever we needed. We loved the big jacuzzi tub and shower in the master bathroom and it was so clean! My favorite part was the huge deck where we spent our evenings after dark. It was perfect and I wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was great! Beautiful gulf view and the deck was perfect for enjoying the view and sunsets. We had a group of 3 families. The only downside was they only issue 2 passes for the gated community entry. This was a pain when we did different things outside the house. We had to go open up gate for the group that did not have a gate card. The only other suggestion would be an additional love seat instead of the bench in the living room as there was not enough comfortable seating for 8 people in living room.Overall this is a great place to stay. Kitchen well furnished. The guys surf fished, the beach was clean and not crowded.

We were there for my daughter’s wedding and we all stayed here so were could all be together!!! The wedding party stayed here as well! We were all very comfortable and there was plenty of space!!! Everything was just as it was in the pictures!!! Very large kitchen, large deck spaces and the perfect beach view and access!!! We even saw dolphins!!!

Beach was not crowded and sometimes felt like we were the only ones there.
Staff kept us informed on the hurricane situation and was very quick to respond to our inquiries on the weather. Definitely planning on returning in future.

Great house and great area. The only downside was not being able to access the beach from the house. We were told the boardwalk would be done by Monday but wasn’t done until Thursday. We had one full day of vacation with access from the house to the beach. That was really the only issue with this rental, but a big issue when you rent a beach house. We would rent this one again now that we know the access was fixed. Love the private beach!

It appears that the house has direct beach access correct? Is there sufficient beach frontage near the house to allow for walks on the beach? Sorry, just not familiar with the area and was curious about the comment on accessing the beach at the Eastern end of the Audobon Place beach. Thanks.

I recommend reading our blog about the East End Restoration Project on the website. The Army Corps of Engineers is rebuilding the east end beach in front of Serenity by the Sea.
