We had a beautiful view, and a great stay thank you for having us we will be back on the island again.
Jeremy S. says
Caught a ton of fish. That was the point of the trip. House was perfect for that.
Justin M. says
The porch alone was worth every penny. You are literally sitting OVER the Gulf. Amazing 180 degree views. Tons of birds, dolphins every day. Fishing from the deck. Loved falling asleep to the crash of the surf. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels etc. Heads up, this is the far end of the island. If you rent a golf cart it’s a haul back into town. Great local sea food. Check out the Ferry to Gulf Shores for a day trip.
Morgan P. says
Great place for a family vacation !
Candice C. says
We had a great time! You might get an influx of rental requests, because our stay is viral on TikTok right now. 🙂
So many people love the location of being in the gulf! My Mom requested a Gulf view for her retirement and this house delivered.
Help for those who haven’t been – it may be off season in early May, but everything closed early (3 pm). The seafood market was closed most of our stay. None of the restaurants allowed take out (we called all of them). If you want to be sure you eat good, bring food with you or call ahead and check availability. Otherwise, you can get off the island and find what you need.
The bedding was very clean. If you are laid back, this is perfect. If you have a group that likes to shop and be on the go, this isn’t it.
We will want to stay here again!
Tom L. says
Beautiful location with plenty of space. We could surf fish directly off of the porch. Our kids enjoyed the beautiful beach and shells.
Sarah K. says
We had a great stay on Dauphin Island and enjoyed the house very much. The walk from the car to the house is over sand, but the stairs up to the house are not bad, and an elderly member of our party managed fine with some assistance. It does make unloading the car a bit more challenging. The kitchen was well stocked, and we were able to cook at the house. The property manager was extremely responsive to a minor maintenance request.
Katherine W. says
We had a great time!
Kelly M. says
It was a great location… the drive to the house needed to be scraped of some sand .. neighbors got stuck several times and so did our golf cart rental . It was a decent place to stay .Dauphin Island is absolutely beautiful especially if you like to fish , choose this house because you do t even have to leave the back deck … just fish right off it .
Dan K. says
View was beautiful. Place was clean. Everything was great except parking. It needs to be paved farther inside so it could be closer to the house. Overall our stay was wonderful.
Nicole says
Do you need 4 wheel drive to park? My concern is if we will be stuck in the sand. Thank you.
Adam says
No, you park on Vargas Ct, with the side street that approaches the west side of the property. Two vehicles max. That street is crushed concrete and navigable by 2WD.
Pam Schott says
Would the owners make an exception to the dog policy on a case by case basis
Becky Griffon says
I can always ask, however I can not guarantee. They usually do not accept them for a reason such as allergies or something in that nature.
Karen Seiler says
Am I reading this correct?!? No children under 3 years old?
Adam says
No, it’s only meant to mean that children 2 and under do not count against your occupancy limit. They are certainly welcome!
Gena Harris says
Does the house have a fire pit or can we build a fire on the beach?
Adam says
Sorry, Dauphin Island has a town ordinance prohibiting any open fires.
