Description
This gulf front beach house will give you the personal beach vacation that you are daydreaming about! This home has ample room and an open floor plan that is perfect for shared memories. You get an unobstructed view of the gulf, and the large rear deck will have you looking at the stars with the waves crashing below you. The kitchen is well equipped and gives you what you need for your family vacation.
This unit has a shared walkway, grilling area, outside shower and steps. Each unit has its own charcoal grill. No need to worry about privacy, there is a privacy panel in place, between the 2 gulf front decks. This unit has 2 parking spots for 2 cars If you have a large group, renting both Rainbow’s End and Beach Music is a great option. Both units have the same layout and similar furnishings.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note that the shoreline of Dauphin Island Beaches regularly shifts inward and outward. Properties at the shoreline will experience wave action. Guests will be able to hear the waves and feel the house move. This is normal and should be expected for any home on pilings.
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
Parking Instructions
Shares driveway with Rainbow’s End. If more than one car, you will have to block each other in. In the event that the driveway is unavailable (frequently sands over in storms), park on the end of Shell Ct. Free overflow parking at Green Park next to Ship N Shore.

My goal was to take my niece on a relaxing trip by the Gulf where we could just sit and relax or walk on the beach, this house helped me accomplish that mission. The unit was clean and had all the equipment needed for morning coffee and fixing meals. Sitting on the deck with the constant waves was relaxing and walking up and down the beach was wonderful with the other visitors all being very friendly and respectful.

Beach and ocean views do not get any better. Furniture including beds very comfy.
We had a problem getting in when we arrived but beach rentals responded immediately . You definitely have to bring toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap. Something we usually don’t carry with us. The kitchen is not stocked. No salt , pepper, or oil. Dauphin island is charming and laid back. Hope to return someday.

This might be my favorite Gulf-side accommodation ever. To call it beachfront is an understatement; not in the same ballpark. It’s ON the Gulf. The shade underneath is perfect for wading and enjoying being slapped by waves, without worry of sunburn. My only advice is to carry small or medium-sized suitcases and coolers, as rolling things are useless in the sand between the parking area and the stairs. And who wants to carry a 40-pound anything for 20 or 30 yards in soft sand?

This house has us spoiled! This will be our 4th year coming to this house for vacation. We love how we can fish right off the porch, sit and watch the sunrise and sunset right on the water, watch the shrimp boats all lit up at night, and go on a charter that we take every year. Very relaxing and just all around great.

We enjoyed our stay. We arrived about 2:45 and we were able to check in a little early. We loved the convenience of being able to fish off the deck. Everything was as described except neither of the grills worked. We had planned on grilling hamburgers. The back door handle would not release the latch plunger so we could not open the back door. This happened Easter Sunday and we were leaving Monday. We hated to call maintenance on Easter Sunday. I did let them know when we checked out. We would stay here again!

Loved this house and location! You can’t beat the view perched over the water. The deck has great views of both sunrises and sunsets, and on one lucky morning we saw at least a dozen dolphins. And the beach was right at our feet.
The house had some hiccups, but the team was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

What a perfect getaway with my children! We had never been to the area, and although we live in the panhandle, this was the perfect “staycation”. We essentially had the beach to ourselves during our entire stay so it felt like we were on our own private island. The sunrises and sunsets were incredible from the back porch overlooking the water! We really look forward to coming back when it gets a little warmer. Absolutely fantastic stay! Highly recommend!

The location was perfect! We could fish off the balcony,or sit and read while listening to the waves and watch the wildlife. We saw dolphins, we caught fish sharks and a stingray! We walked down our stairs to swim and play on the beach. It was awesome ~ I would have rated the place a 5 except the driveway was a nightmare ~ the sand covered it so it was easy to get stuck and unclear who can park where ~ the spare parking was 10 minutes away from the place which was not clear in the description. The house was also not very clean but it did hold us all and the A/C worked well!

This beautiful home is right over the water. I’d never been to AL and now nothing will compare to staying here. The home is clean, comfortable, and pet friendly. There were only two of us but each having our own bathrooms was nice and both bathrooms have bidets. We used to the two large bedrooms facing the ocean and loved hearing the waves all night. The beds are firm so keep that in mind if you prefer a softer sleep. The large deck is directly over the ocean. It’s nice that there’s a child gate between the other half of the property so that my dog could enjoy being loose with us on the deck and still be contained. There is a grill but we didn’t use it. The ice maker is very small or slow so you’ll want to stop and get a bag of ice. When we stayed, someone had stored fished that leaked all over the fridge and under the drawers. It was nauseating. We cleaned that as best we could, including scraping off thick goo. They did bring us some charcoal bags to help absorb the smell. Other than that, everything was great. We appreciated touches like throw blankets, chaise loungers, a couple of wine glasses available, and the hose at the top of the steps to rinse off our feet and dog paws. We loved walking the beach, watching birds and waves from the deck, enjoying beautiful sunrises and sunsets, hearing the crashing waves at night and watching for dolphins in the evenings. We felt fortunate to have found such a wonderful place that the owners are sharing. We hope to return.

DIBR knocked it out of the park. Check in and check out was seamless via text, the directions they gave for access to the property were stress free, the beach home itself was in great condition, and the expectations for check out were very reasonable. We found a broken bar stool on check in and within an hour they had someone over to pick up and fix it. I was very impressed. Every year I go to Dauphin Island and stay with DIBR, and they keep getting better.

Dauphin Island Beach was the perfect getaway for our family. The house was clean and stocked per description. The location was fantastic, right on the beach.
We saw several dolphins right off the back deck. The ocean waves came right under our house. This was
a peaceful, serene, relaxing vacation. We will defenitley look at booking rainbows end next year!!

The houses are typically in the water. You can enjoy the beaches on either side of the property or underneath it if you would like to enjoy the shade.

This place is great for the rate. Literally steps from the beach. Deck is out over the gulf water. Bedroom arrangement works well for large family.
