The open common area boasts a fully equipped kitchen with a floating island and peninsula, perfect for preparing delicious meals. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining space features a large table for family gatherings. The pet-friendly living room offers a large flat-screen TV and stunning views of the Gulf side of the island. A convenient laundry closet is located nearby for added convenience.
The two south-facing king suites provide direct access to the back porch, each featuring a dedicated closet, TV, and private bathroom. The north queen bedroom offers a dedicated closet and TV, with a common bathroom conveniently located nearby. The north bunk room features two full-over-full bunk beds, a dedicated closet, TV, and a private bathroom.
Step outside onto the covered porch to enjoy outdoor dining with a large table on the elevated deck, or relax on the swing facing the Gulf for breathtaking views. The private pool, attached to the back porch, provides ample lounge seating for guests to soak up the sun and enjoy the island breeze.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. Only dogs, must be approved by insurance policy— 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax.
Parking Instructions
Driveway has room for two vehicles.
To access the beach, turn right out of the driveway and walk to the end of Sehoy St. (0.1 miles).

This was our first time staying in this location. Our place was nice. The area was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness. Hair and dust collection under the couches and around the laundry. The pool is a nice amenity but the bottom was sandy. A net would have been nice to catch the bugs that flew in. Our fridge was broken and we were given a loaner fridge that was also broken. The company was very responsive and worked quickly to get that resolved. Overall good stay would use this company again

Great spot. We have been doing a group trip to Dauphin Island for 4 years and this is probably our favorite spot. We’ve stayed in other houses on the same street and the group agreed this is our favorite.

The house is very beautiful. Our entire family enjoyed the pool, the kitchen is very roomy and the living room is very accomodating. I communicated two small issues and they resolved them quickly and swiftly. I liked that there was a hose outside to wash off the sand, the pool deck has plenty of chairs and the outdoor picnic table was perfect for after swimming snacks. We loved staying here and will be recommending it to our friends.

House is spacious. We had 11 guests and never felt crowded. Pool is good for the kids. We did have to figure out the lights for night time swimming. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, pots/ pans, plates, etc.
The flooring did need some repair in the hallway between king bedrooms.

Listing accuracy is low due to the listing indicating a functional pool; the pool had a catastrophic leak and was not functional our entire stay, to which Vrbo was notified (Adam) and did nothing to help us.Management was rated low due to lack of involvement, never showed up to witness our problem.Our experience with Vrbo was unsatisfactory due to their neglect of supporting us.

GREAT STAY! We had a minor hiccup and the crew at DIBR went out of their way to make it right. We had an incredible stay making lots of memories for a grandparents 70th birthday trip. Very walkable to beach, house was fresh, clean with plenty of space for 3 families to have their own areas and spend time together both inside & out. Overall amazing trip, would absolutely recommend!

There was a problem with the pool when we first arrived. There had been a lot of heavy rain the few days before our arrival. They had someone out to take care of it early the next morning. The house was great. Had everything we needed. I did ask one question that was answered incorrectly. I was told there was only a drip coffee maker and we had a box full of k cups. There is a coffee ninja that takes kcups just fine. Great location

Our 3rd visit to the area was the best yet at the Purple Paradise. Love the location with a short walk to the beach and the pool felt pretty private. Inside had updated amenities and we loved the tall ceilings. The mattress was a bit old, but that’s about the only complaint we could have. Thank you for letting us enjoy this amazing home!

We had a great stay with our family in November. Great location, lots of privacy. The weather wasn’t ideal that weekend so having a pool was really nice. The home was clean and had plenty of space for our crew. The kitchen is missing several things ( we were cooking all weekend) but we made it work. The management company was amazing. Always checking in on us and making sure we are good and answered questions fast. Everyone had a great relaxing weekend!

We had a great time here, plenty of space for our family of 9. Enjoyed the heated pool and was within walking distance to the beach. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to explore the island. The only complaint kids had was the WiFi was spotty. If you’re looking for a quiet vacation spot this is your place. We will definitely be back.

This was a Christmas gift for our family. After months of research and many list of most haves this home exceeded my expectations.
We spent multiple hours in the pool from sun up to sun down.
One small hiccup with the outlets in bathrooms but that was resolved quickly. We are already looking to book again next year. My granddaughters said at least once everyday “greatest idea ever”

The home was a great size for our family vacation! The pool was clean, had lights for night swims, but it was a little small and fit maybe 6 people comfortably. The picnic table outside was great for a family dinner and cooking on the grill was seamless. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you’d need with lots of dishes and utensils. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and large closets and dressers – and the bathrooms had plenty of storage. There is only one couch and it only seats 4-5. The big issue I had was that the wi-fi went out every day we were there and the internet company had to come out twice, but the host responded quickly and had the internet company out quickly each day. It was out when we got there and it was out on the day of check-in, but would work for a few hours after the company came out.

We absolutely loved this beautiful home! The pool was the best addition, especially with younger kids. After a day in the sun at the beach we came back and the kids swam into the evening. The home was spotless and beautiful inside. We felt right at home.

Everything was wonderful fantastic day, fantastic house. My only suggestion is don’t allow pets to swim in the swimming pool.
