Description
Ocean’s Edge is a beautiful, newly-updated 2 bedroom/2 bath condo in the Inn at Dauphin Island, with direct Gulf views and a great second-floor location. There is a Gulf-view balcony accessible from the living room and Master Bedroom. This is one of the nicest units in the building, and is the perfect place for your Dauphin Island vacation.
The Inn at Dauphin Island is a four-story, low-density building located directly on the white, sandy Gulf of Mexico beach. Amenities at the Inn include two Gulf-side pools a great location directly on a quiet stretch of beach, a walkway across the dune, and gated, private parking.
Ocean’s Edge has a King bed in the Master bedroom and 2 Full-size beds in the 2nd bedroom.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
Parking Instructions
Parking is allowed in the spaces designated for unit. All overflow parking should be parked at Green Park next to Ship & Shore.

Overall, we were pleased with the condo, building, and location. Dauphine island is more laid back than your typical beach area but we enjoyed its relaxed atmosphere.

The stay was awesome! It’s a perfect location and the condo was so clean!! I was impressed!
We enjoyed the beach and even caught the ferry one day over to Ft Morgan! I would highly recommend this place!

I loved this place. Fully stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, grab bars in the bathtub. The second floor location is ideal for the view and I loved being close to the pool. If you are looking to get away to a quiet and family oriented place, then this is it. I can’t wait to go back next year.

Our stay at Dauphin Island was perfect! We had two pools basically to ourselves! The beach was a short walk out the back door!
Our condo was beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beach as we sipped our morning coffee. While it might sound silly, we had plenty of towels, which is something that can’t be said about other places! The kitchen had everything we needed! The washer and dryer were an added bonus!
We had a couple of questions during our stay and our host was quick to respond.
I would call this place the perfect location for TRUE rest and relaxation!
We will be back!
If you’ve never been to the island, we suggest all the groceries you need be purchased before arriving. There aren’t many options on the island for food shopping.

Great unit and great place for families. This is a low key place, unlike Destin. There aren’t as much tourist attractions and restaurants. Restaurants were few.

We had an incredible time. Everything was great from check-in to check-out. We even extended our stay because the condo was available. It was as simple as saying, “if the place is available we will stay another night!” It was so we did. We will be back.

How far is this to the beach? Are both bedrooms on the same floor?
Do you get 2nd floor only or is there a 1st floor too?

This unit is 2nd floor only. There is a 350ft boardwalk that goes from the condos to the beach.

Excellent Getaway
This condo is really well done. The theme is clean and beachy – there’s not more than you need, but everything you do! The kitchen is nicely appointed with cookware, coffee maker, etc. Beds are comfortable and the communal living space makes for a wonderful, relaxing time after a day at the pool and beach.
My family has been to this condo three times, and we’ll go back for a fourth visit in February 2023.
The pools are always inviting and clean – there are two and one is always warm due to the time of day.
You may also grill outside, but make sure you bring a lantern – time slips away and it gets dark!
