Welcome to Lazy Daze Beach House, a beautifully refreshed coastal retreat designed for relaxed Dauphin Island living. With updated interiors that highlight its beachy charm, this inviting two story home offers the perfect setting for family vacations, quick coastal escapes, or peaceful off season getaways. Located just steps from the Gulf side beach, guests can easily walk down Strand Court and be on the sand in moments.
Inside, the open concept living space creates a welcoming place to gather after a day at the beach. Natural light fills the living room where comfortable seating surrounds the fireplace and large TV, making it an ideal spot for movie nights, conversation, or cozy evenings during cooler months. The fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of space for preparing meals together, while the nearby dining area makes family dinners easy and memorable.
The homeās layout makes it especially appealing for families. The upstairs master suite provides a private retreat away from the main living areas, complete with its own covered balcony and sweeping Gulf views. Itās the perfect place to slip away with a morning coffee or enjoy quiet sunset moments above the shoreline.

The wraparound deck offers multiple places to relax and enjoy the island breeze. With both covered and open areas, guests can choose between shaded seating or sunny spots perfect for soaking in the coastal views. Whether enjoying breakfast outdoors, afternoon drinks, or a peaceful evening under the stars, the outdoor space extends the living area and embraces the laid back island lifestyle.
One of Lazy Dazeās best features is its easy access to the Gulf beach. A short walk down Strand Court places guests directly onto Dauphin Islandās beautiful shoreline, making spontaneous beach walks, sunset viewing, and morning swims effortless.
Lazy Daze Beach House is just as inviting in the cooler months as it is during summer. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere for fall and winter stays, making it an excellent option for snowbirds, quiet beach retreats, or long weekend escapes when the island is at its most peaceful.

Lazy Daze places guests within easy reach of Dauphin Islandās favorite attractions. Spend the day exploring Fort Gaines, discover marine life at the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, or enjoy birdwatching in the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Local seafood restaurants, bike friendly roads, and peaceful beaches make it easy to settle into the relaxed rhythm of island life.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
House Rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
Parking Instructions
Driveway will accommodate up to 4 vehicles. Beach access by foot right from the proprety.

We had a wonderful stay at a Dauphin Island beach home! The house was very comfortable, clean, and dog-friendly, and even better than the pictures. The master bedroom was spacious and relaxing with great views, and we enjoyed the more private top balcony. The wrap-around porch was perfect in the mornings and evenings while listening to the waves, and the grill was a great bonus for meals. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the location just steps from the beach couldnāt be beat. Dauphin Island has such a peaceful, laid-back feel, and this home made it easy to enjoy every bit of it. We would definitely come back again!

We had such a lovely stay at āLazy Daze!ā Our family enjoyed early rise fishing each morning due to the convenience of only having a few steps to the water. We also had a baby on board, so the location made naps doable while still enjoying the vacation from the wrap-around porch. The rental was very clean, had plenty of extra blankets and linens, everything we needed in the kitchen, and a great layout for our family with the 3 bedrooms, specifically the master upstairs. It was a peaceful trip with beautiful memories!

This was by far our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed in! The location was incredible and right on the beach, it was surreal to be able to walk down the steps and be right on the sand. Our dogs had an absolute blast walking on the beach and watching people pass by from the wrap around porch (that could be closed off by the gate to keep the dogs up- a huge plus!). The house was very clean and just perfect for our getaway for a few days – we will absolutely come back here! The hosts were also very responsive to any questions we had and very communicative before and throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The rental was clean and comfortable. It was easy to get into with a keypad so we didn’t have to worry about keeping a key with us. The covered deck was nice to relax on while watching the waves and enjoying a breeze. The first step going upstairs was taller than usual and could catch you off guard if you aren’t paying attention. Hi Kara. You can access the beach right from Lazy Daze. After walking down the steps, use Strand Ct to walk to the beach. (about 300 ft to beach)
