Description
Escape to paradise at Lazy Daze Beach House. This stunning 2-story vacation rental home on Dauphin Island. With an open floor plan for the living space, this home is perfect for gatherings and relaxation. The large fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s dream, while the dining room table offers ample seating for family meals. Cozy up in the living room across from the fireplace and enjoy movie nights on the large TV.
Upstairs, the second floor features a luxurious master ensuite with a king-size bed, a private covered outdoor patio with sweeping views of the Gulf, and a spacious his and hers bathroom. Downstairs, guests will find a queen bedroom and a bunk room with 1 full-over-full and 1 twin-over-twin bunk bed, perfect for accommodating children or additional guests. A common bathroom on the first floor ensures convenience for all.
Outside, the wrap-around deck provides the ultimate outdoor living experience. Parts of the deck are covered and include seating and dining areas, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or simply soaking in the island ambiance. The elevated deck offers breathtaking views of the white sands and sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico, creating the perfect backdrop for your island getaway.
Lazy Daze is the first house on the right on Strand Ct – a small gulfside street off Bienville Blvd on the west end of Dauphin Island. Guests have access to the gulf side beaches by taking a short walk down Strand Ct.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
House Rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
Parking Instructions
Driveway will accommodate up to 4 vehicles. Beach access by foot right from the proprety.

We had a wonderful stay at a Dauphin Island beach home! The house was very comfortable, clean, and dog-friendly, and even better than the pictures. The master bedroom was spacious and relaxing with great views, and we enjoyed the more private top balcony. The wrap-around porch was perfect in the mornings and evenings while listening to the waves, and the grill was a great bonus for meals. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the location just steps from the beach couldn’t be beat. Dauphin Island has such a peaceful, laid-back feel, and this home made it easy to enjoy every bit of it. We would definitely come back again!

We had such a lovely stay at “Lazy Daze!” Our family enjoyed early rise fishing each morning due to the convenience of only having a few steps to the water. We also had a baby on board, so the location made naps doable while still enjoying the vacation from the wrap-around porch. The rental was very clean, had plenty of extra blankets and linens, everything we needed in the kitchen, and a great layout for our family with the 3 bedrooms, specifically the master upstairs. It was a peaceful trip with beautiful memories!

This was by far our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed in! The location was incredible and right on the beach, it was surreal to be able to walk down the steps and be right on the sand. Our dogs had an absolute blast walking on the beach and watching people pass by from the wrap around porch (that could be closed off by the gate to keep the dogs up- a huge plus!). The house was very clean and just perfect for our getaway for a few days – we will absolutely come back here! The hosts were also very responsive to any questions we had and very communicative before and throughout our stay.

We enjoyed our days at the beach. The fact that it was easy to walk the beach was great. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and anything you needed to cook with. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer. Dauphin Island is really laid back. Just our speed. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. The rental was clean and comfortable. It was easy to get into with a keypad so we didn’t have to worry about keeping a key with us. The covered deck was nice to relax on while watching the waves and enjoying a breeze. The first step going upstairs was taller than usual and could catch you off guard if you aren’t paying attention. We will keep it on our list to visit again.

Hi Kara. You can access the beach right from Lazy Daze. After walking down the steps, use Strand Ct to walk to the beach. (about 300 ft to beach)
