Description
Island Time has a great layout for a beach house, with a large kitchen and dining area on one end, and a living room on the other end of the house. The third bedroom is a bunk room with a TV , so in the evenings, there is plenty of space for everyone.
This great beach house is less than one hundred feet from the Gulf, one of the closest houses to the water on the Island. You’ll enjoy great views from just about every window, and can sit on the deck and dolphin-watch.
The island is accessible by bridge from I-10 and I-65. Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan is only a few miles away and is accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip).
For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, play a round of golf at the Isle Dauphine gulf-front course, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach or at the long gulf-front fishing pier, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or just plain relax . . . . .
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note that the shoreline of Dauphin Island Beaches regularly shifts inward and outward. Properties at the shoreline will experience wave action. Guests will be able to hear the waves and feel the house move. This is normal and should be expected for any home on pilings.
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.

The property does not have a driveway. Place copy of the rental agreement on the dash of car and park on Treasure Ct. Can accommodate two cars. Free overflow parking at Green Park next to Ship N Shore.

WOW THE VIEWS!!! SPECTACULAR! we even got to see dolphins twice. You can see both beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Best part we got to bring out fur baby! SO QUIET TOO! NO crowds no crazy parties. We will be back! Literally RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

Loved the location of this rental! It was seriously right on the water! Loved that & it was set up nice for our family of 6 with 4 little kids. The first night it was very windy & the power went out in like the extra bathroom & one bedroom & that was fixed the next morning by an employee. Then the next day the door lock battery died so we couldn’t get in the house until we called & got the spare key. But thankfully they seemed to always have someone running around working on any problems that arose. They were responsive & the house was nice! Wished there would have been more extra blankets! But if that’s the only complaint then I’d say it was pretty good overall!

When staying on a west end gulf side street, parking may change due to weather related rising water and sand. If parking proximity to the house is crucial, I do recommend calling the front office at 1-800-771-1480 before booking, to ensure you are comfortable during your stay.

Our stay was awesome! With the recent weather the water came right under the house. We saw dolphins at least once a day. When the waves got a little big we just went down to the West End Beach for a shell picking and checking out all the hermit crabs. Really enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was the wifi, not very strong.

we will definitely stay again! great family vacation location with a lot of unencumbered space and the natural world for kids to explore. be sure and bring flashlights for the kiddos for the nightly crabbing discovery along beach just after dark.

Our first day was storming and flooding. We received a weather alert from the rental staff about possible tornadoes in the area while we were traveling. We were able to get to the house and rental staff was very helpful in transporting our vehicle to a safer place to park overnight. Staff very friendly and caring. We are planning on booking this house again.

The place was beautiful and the location was amazing. We were literally at eye level with the seagulls and pelicans floating above the waves! The property was clean and comfortable but appeared to be a work in progress as the master closet(s) were full of flooring, doors, tools and work supplies. Between those items and all the back stock of bedding and towels, there was no place to put our clothes so we operated out of our suitcases the whole time we were there. That was a surprise and a hassle. Overall, we had a wonderful time and felt the location and provisions of the property were nice.

Nice, basic beach house on the West End of Dauphin Island. Beachfront. There is some beach to play on, even at high tide. Fairly close to the State park beach, which is beautiful and you can have it all to yourself if you just walk down a couple hundred yards from the entrance.

Being front row on the beach does create some variability on walking distance, it is typically about a 50-foot walk across the sand from Treasure Ct to the proerpty.

You do have to transport from the parking spot. You will park at the end of Treasure Court, but there is beach sand between there and the house. The distance changes (court streets are managed by the city and are regularly scraped), but it is typically about a 50 ft walk.

Great Vacation Beach House!
This is a great beach house! It’s right on the water and has an incredible view of the Gulf. It’s well equipped with everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the large balcony watching the dolphins and the sunrise.

What are the rules with dogs? I know the home is pet friendly. Are dogs allowed certain times of the day or certain areas on the beach? I have a small 20lb pug. Do they also need to be on a leash at all times?

Pets on the beach must be on a leash at all times (and cleaned up after). They can be out there anytime though.

It just depends on the time of year. If you use the calendar to select your dates, it will inform of you of minimum stay lengths. They range from 2 to 7 days.

Island Time is a beautiful place. The kitchen us well-equipped with state of the art appliances. The master suite is lovely. The whole place is decorated tastefully. Watching dolphins right off the balcony is an exciting adventure. Its location, right on the Gulf, makes this beach house the best place ever!

Beautiful property with everything we needed. Awesome sunrises and sunsets, watching dolphins play and the beautiful beach right outside the door, this property has it all. I highly recommend staying here. There were six of us and we had plenty of room and had a fantastic time.
