Description
Escape to the Island at this beautiful 5 bedrooms beach house! It enjoys modern touches throughout and direct access to the gulf! Private pool (can be heated for $50/day). Watch the family play in the surf right from either of your gulf facing decks or from the crow’s nest. Outstanding views only offered by location and the crow’s nest, sunrise and sunset will be worth the effort! Includes driveway making trouble-free parking. Master bedroom on the 1st floor and remaining bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Room for the whole family. Three rooms have sleeper chairs to make room for everyone! Come find your Island Escape!
Pool Heating Note: Pool temperature can vary during cooler months, as the system relies on outdoor air temperatures. In colder conditions (around 50°F), heating may be less effective or temporarily unavailable (45°F and below), and it can take up to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature when weather allows.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
House Rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is not pet friendly.
Parking Instructions
Small driveway at the house, room for two cars. Free overflow parking at Green Park next to Ship N Shore. Can access the beach from either side of the property.

The house was great!! We had a large group everyone was able to sleep comfortably and plenty of space to fan out. The house is directly on the beach so you have unlimited beach access. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. And the starter pack was a very nice touch. The staff were very nice, polite, and helpful. I just cannot say enough positives about this experience.

The house itself is getting a bit old , but is still pretty much confortable and corresponding to the description . No real issue there . The swimming pool/ jacuzzi is underrated and is really a must , and worth the price . We spent hours enjoying the outside laying in the heated water and looking at the sky and sea . Amazing .

Loved the house
We rented the house for a week in mid March. First off, we loved the location. It would be tough to be much closer to the water.
The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the grill worked great.
We used the hot tub/ swim spa every day and loved it. The only downside was that it took 24 hours to get to temperature so we didn’t get to use it on day 1. One thing to note, when we came back from the beach we could leave shells/ beach toys/ flip flops etc outside the front door. With as windy as it was, the sand would blow into the hot tub from that spot.
We had a problem with the bed in the master bedroom as it looked like it had been broken for a while. We tried to fix it but it broke again. Texted DIBR and they had someone out the next morning to bring a new bed.
Overall, we loved this house and would not hesitate going back there again.

Is this house on the bay? In one picture a yellow house is pictured. Is this the blue house?

It is on the gulf beach side. The siding has been replaced and the house is now a beautiful blue. 🙂

The description of the listing says pet friendly and when filtering this home comes back as pet friendly, but the house rules say no pets. Can you confirm which is accurate?

I’m confused by the pictures. Is the house directly on the gulf? Some pics makes it look like it’s got houses in front to deter from view.
