Welcome to Hidden Palms, a comfortable, pet friendly island retreat tucked into the interior of Dauphin Island. Centrally located for convenient access to beaches, restaurants, and island attractions, this four bedroom home offers plenty of space for families and groups traveling with their dogs. A grassy backyard, shaded hangout area with hammocks, and indoor games give guests plenty of ways to relax between island adventures.

Hidden Palms has a relaxed, functional layout designed to make family vacations comfortable and easy. The open concept living and dining area features light flooring, soft coastal colors, ceiling fans, and plenty of natural light. Comfortable seating provides space to gather for movie nights, while books and board games offer additional entertainment when everyone is ready for some downtime.

The kitchen connects directly to the main gathering space and features white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and a butcher block island with bar seating. The island creates a convenient spot for breakfast, snacks, meal preparation, or simply keeping the conversation going while dinner is being prepared.

A laundry closet is conveniently located in the hallway leading toward the bedrooms.

Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 9):
• SE King Suite – King bed, walk-in closet, private bathroom, and access to the back deck
• SE Private Bathroom – Attached to the King Suite with shower and tub combination
• SW Queen Bedroom – Queen bed, closet, and TV
• NW Queen Bedroom – Queen bed, closet, and TV
• NE Bunk Room – Twin over full bunk bed, TV, and closet
• Common Bathroom – Conveniently located near the bedrooms with shower and tub combination

The SE King Suite provides a little extra privacy for the primary guests, with its own bathroom, walk in closet, and direct access to the back deck.

Hidden Palms gives families plenty of ways to enjoy their time outside. Beneath the elevated home, a shaded hangout area with hammocks provides a laid back place to relax, read a book, or cool off after a day exploring the island. A propane grill makes it easy to prepare casual meals while enjoying the outdoor space.

Guests also have access to kayaks during their stay, adding another way to experience the waters surrounding Dauphin Island.

The full grassy backyard is especially convenient for families traveling with dogs, providing additional outdoor space right at the property. Combined with the back deck and covered area beneath the home, there are several places to spread out and enjoy the island air.

Located within the interior of Dauphin Island, Hidden Palms provides a convenient home base for exploring both ends of the island. Beaches, restaurants, bike paths, and local attractions are all within easy reach.

Spend the day exploring the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, Fort Gaines, and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, or head to the Gulf for a day on the sand before returning to the quieter residential setting of Hidden Palms.

With room for up to three dogs, this pet friendly home is particularly well suited for families who want to bring more of their four legged family members along for the island getaway.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. Only dogs, must be approved by insurance policy—3-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax.

Parking Instructions

Parking at Hidden Palms:
Guests have access to convenient on-site driveway parking with plenty of space for vehicles during your stay.

Driving to Public Beaches:
The nearest Gulf beach access is about 0.9 miles away, so we recommend driving rather than walking. Dauphin Island has four public beach areas:
• East End Beach
• Middle Beach
• Bienville Beach
• West End Beach

Parking is paid. Once you pay for parking at one public beach, your pass is valid at all four public beach areas for the rest of the day. This gives you the flexibility to explore the island and move between beaches to find your preferred conditions or a less crowded spot.
