Welcome to Hero’s Hide Away, a relaxed Gulf side retreat where coastal views, easy beach access, and a comfortable layout come together for a laid-back Dauphin Island stay. With a covered deck offering Gulf views and a short walk to the beach, this home is perfect for guests who want to slow down and enjoy the rhythm of island life.

Step inside to a bright and open living space with a clean, modern coastal feel. The kitchen and living area are connected by a large countertop island that serves as both a gathering space and a casual dining area, making it easy for everyone to stay connected.

The kitchen features a fresh two-tone design with white upper cabinets and deep blue lower cabinetry, paired with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The oversized island with bar seating creates a natural hub for meals, morning coffee, or conversation while cooking.

The living area sits just beyond the island, offering comfortable seating and a relaxed space to unwind after a day at the beach. Large windows and glass doors bring in natural light and keep the space feeling open and inviting.

Light wood-style flooring runs throughout the home, adding to the bright and cohesive look. A dedicated laundry area adds convenience, while puzzles and books provide simple ways to relax indoors.

Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 6):
• SW King Suite – King bed, Gulf views, TV, private bathroom
• NW King Bedroom – King bed
• NE Queen Bedroom – Queen bed
• Additional Bathroom – Full bathroom located off the common area near the north bedrooms

The covered deck offers a comfortable place to relax while enjoying Gulf views, with seating and a built-in picnic table that is perfect for outdoor meals.

For beach days, guests can walk down the steps and head to the end of the street for access to the Gulf. While there is a Gulf front home between Hero’s Hide Away and the shoreline, the beach access remains a short and easy walk, making it simple to go back and forth throughout the day.

Nearby Attractions / Area Perks
During your stay, explore Fort Gaines, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Local restaurants, bike paths, and shops make it easy to enjoy the relaxed pace of island life.

Hero’s Hide Away is pet-friendly, welcoming dogs only with a 2 pet maximum. A $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.

Parking Instructions

Parking at the Property:
Guests have access to convenient on-site driveway parking with space for multiple vehicles during your stay.

Walking Access to the Beach:
This gulf side home is located just a short walk from the beach. Guests can reach the Gulf beach access at the end of the street in approximately 2 minutes on foot.

The nearby access leads directly to Dauphin Island’s open Gulf shoreline, making it easy to enjoy beach days, sunsets, and morning walks along the water.

Driving to Public Beaches:
If you prefer to park at the beach or explore different areas of the island, Dauphin Island offers four public beach areas:
• East End Beach
• Middle Beach
• Bienville Beach
• West End Beach

Parking is paid; however, once you pay at any one location, your pass is valid at all four public beaches for the rest of the day. This allows you to easily move between beach areas to find the best conditions or a quieter spot.
