Description
This is the beach house that will meet anyone’s expectations! It has modern fixtures and furniture throughout. It has tremendous views of the Gulf of Mexico and is right across the street. There is a boardwalk that is a 1-minute walk (180 feet away) from the house that will provide a convenient path to the water. The house enjoys a large kitchen and dining area with double ovens and a 5 eye gas range. Three of the bedrooms are downstairs, including the master with a custom walk-in shower with seating. The back deck overlooks a small canal where you can watch the cranes go fishing. There is a second hangout space upstairs with a sectional sofa to allow room for large groups to stretch out. This place is truly fantastic!
Please note the pictured pond behind the house is not part of the property and not to be used for swimming or wading in.
The 2024 beach restoration has restored the beach to its natural beauty, giving you a vast new beach to relax and play on. The beaches and dunes have been restored, but the dune walkovers are still being constructed. Beachgoers are asked to go to the eastern end of the Audubon Place beach to access the beach. Walking over the dunes will result in a fine.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
10. Cargo lifts are not available to guests and can not be used. They are not permitted by Home Owner Insurance Policies.
Parking Instructions
Parking is allowed in driveway and underneath the house can fit 5 cars. Free overflow parking available at Green Park next to Ship N Shore. Beach access is via a boardwalk that is 130 feet west of the driveway. Please do not walk in between other houses.

Beautiful island I enjoyed the nature trail, the beach and the local stores. The house was very cozy,peaceful and quiet.I enjoyed my stay and I would love to come back one day!

The home is beautiful! Two rooms have very noisy fans which was a little difficult at night. The BBQ grill is rusted out and really a danger. The house, its location and upkeep are great. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We had 13 family members plus a 2 year old. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to the beach. Just walk to the public access across the street to the right. Neighbors friendly. Neighborhood secure and private. Plenty of beach area and not crowded at all. Read your emails they send you for your directions to get into the locked neighborhood. Mattresses need to be updated. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have private bathrooms that was not mentioned in add but was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed at the property for my son’s wedding at a nearby location and the house was perfect. We had family from 4 states that came in and we had plenty of space. The house honestly was better than pictured. We were thankful to be in a private and relaxing area where we were able to really enjoy family time. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting with a large family.

Our stay was very relaxing. We loved the quiet neighborhood and private beach. The nearest Publix and Walmart are nearly an hour away so plan your grocery trip prior to arrival.

This was our 35th anniversary vacation and we wanted to invite our family. My wife and I had been to Dauphin Island before and really enjoyed it. Since we were looking for a peaceful and fairly private vacation we decided DI was the location. After looking at several rentals we chose this house, and we were glad we did! There were 7 adults and our 5 year old granddaughter. It’s a beautiful house and right across the street from the (semi-private) beach. Being a gated street we shared the beach with only a few other families. We were able to play and enjoy the beach without being bothered or being a bother to anyone else. The spacious kitchen was great and we did make use of that throughout the week. We did have a couple issues come up while we were there, once late at night. Each and every time before and during our stay, when we reached out they answered our messages almost immediately. The house was perfect for us and helped to make it a great vacation…just what we wanted. Thanks!

Perfect location: gated community, no house across the street, so we had a clear view to the ocean. New boardwalk to the beach, just one house down. We had trouble getting in but the host answered the phone right away and helped us. We were in within 3 minutes. My husband discovered the garbage disposal was leaking under the sink and maintenance came in less than 24 hours to fix it. We spent a lot of time on the huge front porch (needs a porch swing!) when we weren’t at the beach. We were after a slow, quiet beautiful vacation, and this fit the bill!
