Located on one of Dauphin Island’s highly desirable Gulf front through lots, this four bedroom home offers direct beach access, expansive outdoor living, and beautiful Gulf views with only one row of homes along this stretch of shoreline for a more private beach experience.

The heart of Dauphin Charm is its bright and welcoming open concept living area, where vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light create a spacious place for everyone to gather. Comfortable furnishings and sweeping Gulf views make it easy to relax after a day on the beach, while the open layout keeps family and friends connected throughout your stay.
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed to prepare meals with ease, and the nearby dining spaces provide plenty of room for everyone to enjoy breakfast before heading to the beach or dinner together after a day in the sun. A convenient wet bar adds extra space for preparing drinks and snacks, making entertaining even easier.

The observation area provides elevated Gulf views, while the outdoor sectional creates the perfect gathering place for evening conversations.
Private beach access makes spending your days on the sand effortless. Walk directly from the home to the shoreline for swimming, shell hunting, fishing, or simply soaking up the sun. The outdoor shower makes rinsing off after the beach quick and convenient before heading inside.
This home is pet friendly, making it a great option for guests traveling with their dogs. Dogs only, two pet maximum. A $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.

The house is absolutely gorgeous! And so spacious! We had 27 people for a sit down Thanksgiving dinner. We brought some portable tables and lined them up across the center of the room for the buffet and didn’t even have to move any furniture out of the way. With the bar, dining room table, sitting area and deck table everyone had a place to sit – amazing!Beds and pillows are super comfortable. Lots of deck seating to enjoy the ocean view. We made wonderful memories and the whole family is already asking us to rent again for next Thanksgiving.

We had a great stay overall. The house is literally steps from the ocean, and the beach was beautiful and not crowded even on a holiday weekend. The common space is really nice with the kitchen, dining area and living room all in one room. The kitchen is well stocked with silverware, bakeware and cookware, mugs, plates, etc. The deck is really nice with plenty of seating and areas shaded from the sun, although we weren’t able to use it much because of bugs that came in the afternoons/evenings. There is a laundry room and extra linens, towels and beach toys that made our stay comfortable as well.

The location is unbeatable, right on the beach!! If we weren’t walking right downstairs to the beach, we were enjoying all of the space on the patio where we could look at and hear the ocean. House was clean and location was perfect. Only minimal set backs: parking not ideal for 3 vehicles, rooms didn’t always stay cool at night unless you left door open, and internet was spotty. But none of that kept us from having a good trip!

This is our second time at Dauphin Charm and we were amazed again at how well it is maintained and how beautiful it is. The beach is right there. There are not multiple houses around. You really get the feeling this is your space. We have been coming to Dauphin Island since 1985 and it is our favorite house. We are coming back. Exceptional in every way.

We have been coming to Dauphin Island since 1985 and all agree that this is the best house we have stayed at. It was described accurately, lovely decor, space for a large family and perfect beach location. We could not have asked for more.

We searched quite a few properties before deciding on this one and we were not dissapointed. When we return to this location I won’t hesitate to book this property again. The location was directly on the beach where I could relax on the deck while my kids played on the beach/water. The photos are accurate and if anything it looks better in person than online. Very spacious all on one level with bedrooms at each corner and a large uncluttered common living area. It’s worth noting that there are two thermostats for each side of the house – something we didn’t realize until the 2nd night, so guests who have different heat/cooling needs can adjust their own bedroom temps. One of the things NOT in the desciption is there is a storge bin under the house with a variety of beach toys for kids – we’d brought some with us and left them behind for future guests. This portion of the island is much more private and it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves.

Perfect beach house for a couple families with young children. Great layout which provides privacy yet central hang out area. Nice wrap around porch for kids to play and for morning coffee. Directly walks out to semi-private beach. Convenient outdoor shower to hose off the sand before going upstairs. A few beach toys provided but bring your own beach chairs. Overall a great stay.

The house is nice and close to the beach. However, if you want to stay over 2 nights, bring all the supplies you need like shampoo, soap, hand soap, paper towels and even toilet paper. They only provide start kit of the supplies. The internet speed is only 1-2M/s. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay.

Best Airbnb home and location we’ve stayed at – ever. Directly on the beach and gorgeous December weather. Super quiet time of the year. Better than the photos and the ditto on the other positive reviews. The layout is perfect for groups where each of the 4 bedrooms (located in the 4 corners of the home) have bathrooms in between for max privacy and all feature double-doors to walk out directly onto the fabulous walk-around porch. We should have taken others’ advice to shop for groceries before reaching the island because once you get there, you don’t want to leave.

This place will be better than your house for sure !!!!! We definitely will be back. Just hope 3 days could be available. This house was perfect for six of us celebrating my father-in-laws 82nd birthday. King size beds were a bonus and we didn’t need the bunk bed room. It was nice for each couple to have their own bathroom. Wrap-around porches we’re fantastic! Highly recommend this house!

This is our 2nd year staying at Dauphin Charm and we absolutely love it. The cleaning crew does an amazing job. The house is always spotless and smells so good when arriving. It’s fully furnished with everything you need to cook, extra pillows, and covers. We will be staying here every year.

Is this in the area that floods in rain and cars have to be moved?

The house is on the west end which is subject to flooding. This particular property does have an elevated driveway, and it would have to be a substantial storm to require moving vehicles.

We have never stayed in dauphin island but we are planning on staying at this house. Is there a grocery store on the island?

There is a small grocery store called Ship N Shore on the island. We also recommend stocking up in route. There is a Greer’s Super Market 15 miles north of the island and a Super Walmart at Tillman’s Corner which is 26 miles north of the Island, just across I-65.

There is one called ship and shore but we always do a pickup at the walmart in mobile because it’s cheaper!
