Located only one house away from the Gulf, this inviting retreat offers easy beach access, spacious outdoor living, and a warm coastal atmosphere that makes it easy to settle into island life.

Inside, Conch Shell welcomes guests with the timeless charm of a traditional beach cottage. Light wood paneled walls create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while comfortable furnishings and coastal décor help set the tone for a relaxing island getaway.

The open living area provides a comfortable place to gather after a day at the beach, with Gulf views and entertainment options including books, puzzles, a DVD player, DVDs, and VHS tapes stored in the media cabinet beneath the television.

The kitchen is designed for both functionality and connection, featuring a large center island with plenty of space for meal preparation, serving, and gathering. Whether you’re preparing fresh seafood dinners or enjoying a casual breakfast before heading to the beach, the layout makes it easy for everyone to stay connected.

A dedicated laundry room adds convenience for longer stays and family vacations.

• SE King Suite – King bed, TV, private bathroom, access to Gulf view deck
• SW Private Bathroom – Shower tub combo, closet located within bathroom
• NW Queen Suite – Queen bed, TV, private bathroom

• NE Bedroom – Full bed, twin bed, TV
• Common Bathroom – Located next to the NE bedroom, shower tub combo

Outdoor living is one of Conch Shell’s standout features. The expansive deck wraps around both the side and rear of the home, creating multiple places to relax, dine, and enjoy the Gulf breeze. Built in benches provide comfortable seating while taking in the Gulf views, making it the perfect setting for morning coffee, afternoon conversations, or sunset gatherings.

Because the home sits just one property back from the shoreline, beach access is only a short walk away. In just moments, guests can be enjoying Dauphin Island’s beautiful white sand beaches, swimming in the Gulf, searching for shells, or simply relaxing by the water.

Nearby Attractions / Area Perks:
Conch Shell is conveniently located near many of Dauphin Island’s most popular attractions. Spend your days exploring Fort Gaines, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Local restaurants, marinas, and bike-friendly roads make it easy to enjoy the island’s relaxed pace and coastal charm.

This home is pet-friendly, making it a great option for guests traveling with their dogs.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.

Parking Instructions

Parking at the Property:
Guests have access to convenient on-site driveway parking with space for multiple vehicles during your stay.

Walking Access to the Beach:
This gulf side home is just a 1-minute walk from the beach. Simply walk to the end of Shell Ct. to reach the neighborhood beach access and enjoy Dauphin Island’s beautiful Gulf shoreline.

Driving to Public Beaches:
If you prefer to park at the beach or explore different areas of the island, Dauphin Island offers four public beach areas:
• East End Beach
• Middle Beach
• Bienville Beach
• West End Beach

Parking is paid; however, once you pay at any one public beach, your parking pass is valid at all four public beach areas for the rest of the day. This makes it easy to move between beaches to find the best conditions or a quieter stretch of sand.
