Welcome to Blue Oasis, a spacious soundside retreat designed for outdoor living, waterfront fun, and unforgettable group vacations on Dauphin Island. With a private beach, heated pool, waterside deck, kayaks, and beautiful coastal scenery, this home is perfectly suited for families and groups looking to enjoy the best of island living.

Inside, Blue Oasis features a bright open concept layout designed to maximize gathering space and natural light. Warm hardwood style flooring, crown molding, and coastal inspired décor create a polished but relaxed beach house atmosphere throughout the home.
The living room centers around a large sectional sofa and wide sliding glass doors that bring in beautiful natural light and views toward the water. Coastal artwork, nautical accents, and comfortable seating create a welcoming space for relaxing after a day outdoors.
The kitchen combines style and functionality with white shaker cabinetry extending to the ceiling, white quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large island with open shelving. Pendant and recessed lighting keep the space bright and inviting, whether preparing breakfast before the beach or dinner for the entire group.
The dining area comfortably seats eight guests and offers water views and natural light, creating a comfortable space for meals, games, and conversation.
Each bedroom includes a TV with DirectTV, allowing guests to unwind privately at the end of the day.

Outdoor Living / Beach Access
Outdoor living is the centerpiece of the Blue Oasis experience. The private pool offers a refreshing place to cool off throughout the day and can be heated for an additional $50 per day. Covered outdoor seating areas provide comfortable shaded spaces for meals, relaxing, and enjoying the coastal breeze.
Just beyond the house, the beachfront deck creates a favorite gathering space with hammocks and secured seating positioned right along the shoreline. It is the perfect place to relax near the water, watch sunsets over the bay, or enjoy the peaceful soundside atmosphere throughout the day.
The private soundside beach creates a calm and family friendly waterfront experience. The gently sloping shoreline and little to no surf make it especially ideal for younger children, weaker swimmers, and guests who prefer calmer water conditions. Unlike Gulf beaches, the soundside waters typically have no rip currents and fewer encounters with hazardous marine life, creating a more comfortable environment for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and learning to snorkel.
Guests can launch one of the included kayaks, set crab traps, play cornhole, or fish directly from the property. While the property also offers Gulf views, the views are partially filtered by neighboring homes. For traditional white sand Gulf beach days, public beach access is available approximately 0.35 miles from the end of the driveway.
Nearby Attractions / Area Perks
During your stay, explore Fort Gaines, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Local restaurants, bike paths, and shops make it easy to enjoy the relaxed pace of island life.
This is a pet free home, making it a great fit for guests who prefer a clean, allergy friendly environment.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet friendly.
Parking Instructions
The property has a driveway and parking for several cars. All overflow must be parked at Green Park next to Ship & Shore. Gulf side beach access via streets and courts only – you can park on these streets with a parking pass (we will provide). Do not walk between houses. The closest access point is Sam Houston St to your east and Sehoy St to your west. Both are 0.35 miles from your driveway.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had four children and five adults. There was plenty of room, and we loved being able to walk right out onto the beach. The back porch was a great place to hang out with the pool and plenty of seating and shade. The gates on the stairs and pool also made it much easier to manage small children safely. We’d definitely return.

This place was perfect for us! We had a group of 8 adults and 2 kids. There was so much space! There were 3 king beds, a queen bed, and a bunk room. 4 bathrooms total. It was very spacious and the adults were able to have some privacy.
There are tons of bath towels and beach towels. We were there for a week so it was helpful to bring our own laundry detergent to keep those towels clean!
Two minor complaints-
1. There is no skillet in the kitchen which made scrambled eggs and pancakes hard to do. Just a small frying pan.
2. The instructions say you can walk across the street to access the Public beach. The beaches across the street are NOT public. We were asked to leave by the homeowners over there, and threatened with legal action, which was a bit ridiculous being that we are kind people who were fine with moving.
The public beaches are a short drive and still easy to access, but a bit of a walk
The bay beach is small, but really great for young kids and the kayaks were a hit!

This was our second time staying at Blue Oasis and once again everyone had a great time! The house is perfect for our family of five. We loved having the private pool, bayside dock and hammocks and gulf right across the street. They were very responsive and patient with our requests and we can’t wait to return again!

This is the 2nd year we have gone on a big friends trip with the kids, the amenities were good. The place was very well stocked with beach towels and beach equipment. The pool was heated so the kids got to play the whole time we were there, the only downfall is the pool light was burnt out so they were limited to day time only for swimming. We would definitely come back!! The place is always very clean and welcoming.

For a low-key multi-generational family vacation, this was a great house. We loved being on the bay and still having fairly easy access to the beach. We would definitely rent it again. The house is very well equipped. This was the best rental kitchen I’ve every had, and we really appreciated having plenty of bath towels, as well as beach towels. The kayaks and beach toys were a nice bonus. Our only complaint would be that the livingroom furniture was kinda grimy and the deck furniture had mildew stains. We sat on them all anyway. The pool was a nice idea, but really too chilly in March to enjoy much.

Wonderful, Peaceful. Easy walk to the Gulf side direct to the Bay side. They have a Keurig and a regular coffee pot which we enjoy. Beautiful sunrise/sunsets. Check in was a breeze. We used the pool which was a great temp for a Midwest gal. Lots of board game. A great relaxing stay ample parking.

We absolutely loved the house it was perfect for our whole family and grandkids. The bayside was so private and perfect for the kids to play, relaxing in the hammock, guys to fish and crab. The back deck was also perfect since it unfortunately rained a lot on our visit. The pool was nice but it was a little cold due to weather. We didn’t realize it was a $50 a day up charge to turn on heat for pool until we arrived and it takes 24hrs to warm up so with the rain it never really warmed up. Love the island and will definitely be back.

It does help if our guests let us know ahead of time that they want the pool heat on so it can be turned on before their arrival. Please call our office before your arrival (at least 24 hours) so the charge can be added to your reservation and the pool can be ready for your arrival.

The Blue Oasis exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful beach house in a peaceful location with a great view of the water. Plus the sunsets from the back deck and private beach were stunning!
