Description
Blue Jays is a conveniently located 4/4 beach house with a private heated pool. This beautiful home enjoys great ocean views and is a short 3-minute walk to our white sandy beaches. The heated pool includes a large deck with great views of the Gulf Of Mexico. THe home, built in 2023, has modern aesthetics and furnishing throughout. The lighting is fantastic, with many large windows and glass doors, so you never forget you are at the beach.
There is a fully furnished kitchen and large dining area, so bring the whole family. Each bedroom includes it’s own bathroom, enjoy the beach and your own space at the same time!
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. Only dogs, must be approved by insurance policy— 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax.
Parking Instructions
The driveway will accommodate up to 5 vehicles. To access the beach, walk right out of the driveway on Bienville Blvd and left on Sam Houston Street. It is a 3-minute walk.

The pool was perfect for our 3 and 5 year old grandkids. We had the best time! The Blue Jay was comfortable and spacious. Stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!

House is nice a clean, and lots of space. Love that each room has a private bathroom, great for multiple couples or families as well as kids. Location was great with public beach access a very short walk away. I marked down cleanliness because the grill has a grease trap underneath that was apparently FULL when we arrived and caught fire. I dont mean a small fire, I mean the grill was basically engulfed, which not only destroyed 2 racks or ribs, but obviously poses a huge hazard sitting on a wooden deck and next to the propane tank. The propane tank was empty when we arrived, but we called it was replaced very quickly. Also the pool walls are kindof grungy and need to be scrubbed. The water was clean though. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pans, but no dish drainer or strainer which seem like staple kitchen items. Absolutely minimal starter kit provided (1 dish washer and 1 laundry pod, no pool or beach accessories like towels that you find at many beach rentals), so bring EVERYTHING with you. Overall, great for our stay and would recommend again.

Our stay was great! You could see the gulf and hear the waves from the pool on the deck. We rented a golf cart and cruised around the island and it was all beautiful. It was also super easy to rent a fishing charter. The house itself was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of space for the 14 of us to do activities and games. And the company that rented us the house gave us plenty of warnings about an incoming storm on the day we checked out. We were already on our way home but it was still nice of them as they did not know we had left the area.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. The pool is a definite plus as the beach was somewhat disappointing (limited in size with a lot of seaweed both in the water and at the shoreline. The home itself was beautiful and larger than it appeared in pictures. We would definitely stay again when we need a relaxing vacation.

The gulf side beach access for Blue Jays is a 3 minute walk to Sam Houston Street. Take a right out of the driveway onto Bienville Blvd and it will be down about a quarter of a mile.

Perfect house for our multi generation family. It sits directly between the bay and ocean (100 yards from each). The back deck is huge with a family size table that sits 12, nice quality pool chairs, and a gate that separates the pool if you need to keep a pet or child from the water. Our gas grill wasn’t doing well, we thought it was out of gas. We ran down to the local store to get more (DIBR was quick to offer reimbursement). This didn’t fix it but as soon as I pointed it out, BAM! they sent us another grill. The house was spacious, we loved lounging by the pool while seeing the ocean and listening to the waves.

Great Weekend! Family friendly home in a terrific location. Nothing compares to watching the moonlight dance on the water in the gulf side. Having the pool at your back door is wonderful.

If this home had an elevator it would be perfect! The space in the home was great. Huge dining table. Just as described in photos. Kitchen was supplied with dishes, pans, coffee pot can have single cup or full pot, toaster, blender and utensils.

The patio had two big patio tables and pool was such a hit for my family, especially the kids.Bedrooms are spacious. There were plenty of bath towels.
The host was helpful. This was our first time in Dauphin Island, AL, and it was an amazing experience. You won’t be disappointed.
