Description
This gulf front beach house will give you the personal beach vacation that you are daydreaming about! The home has ample room and an open floor plan that is perfect for shared memories. The kitchen is well equipped and gives you what you need for your family vacation. You get an unobstructed view of the gulf, and the large rear deck will have you looking at the stars with the waves crashing below you.
This unit has a shared walkway, grilling area, outside shower and steps. Each unit has its own propane grill. No need to worry about privacy, there is a privacy panel in place, between the 2 gulf front decks. This unit has 2 parking spots for 2 cars If you have a large group, renting both Beach Music and Rainbows End is a great option. Both units have the same layout and similar furnishings.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note that the shoreline of Dauphin Island Beaches regularly shifts inward and outward. Properties at the shoreline will experience wave action. Guests will be able to hear the waves and feel the house move. This is normal and should be expected for any home on pilings.
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
Parking Instructions
Shares driveway with Rainbow’s End. If more than one car, you will have to block each other in. In the event that the driveway is unavailable (frequently sands over in storms), park on the end of Shell Ct. Free overflow parking at Green Park next to Ship N Shore.

Loved the Beach music rental. Loved staying right on the beach and over the water. Fishing right off the back deck, watching pelicans and dolphins in the gulf and simply walking downstairs to be on the sand we’re all wonderful. It was great to sit on the deck and watch our teens swim. This was a very relaxing location. We brought all our food with us, which was a good move.
Parking passes were easily picked up from the office on our way onto the island.

The pictures say it all! With the base of the stilts in the surf at all times (and the tide coming all the way up to the first stair every morning, too), it sounds and feels more like being on a cruise ship than in a house. It actually made for excellent fishing off the back porch! The puzzle in the living room was the perfect way to spend the hottest hours of the day. We loved our stay and hope to return again. Plenty of privacy and a very relaxing way to spend our family vacation.

The parking for Beach Music is located on Shell Ct. There is parking for 2 cars. Any overflow parking will need to be parked at Green Park, which is located next to Ship and Shore.

Beautiful house on the gulf! Swimming and other water activities are just at the bottom of the stairs. One can fish off the deck, watch the pelicans and Dolphins and fish in the water. We are already planning our next beach vacation in the same spot.

The house had some minor issues, but it was nothing that bothered us. The location was amazing. We caught tons of fish and crab, and when it was time to swim, you just walked out the door right onto the beach.
We stayed in a much bigger and fancy house the last time we visited dauphin island, but we wouldn’t go back there over this place, just because of how awesome the location was. The house is literally in the ocean! It was a great vacation!

I wish they gave you more than 1,000 characters! Absolutely loved our stay at Beach Music. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The location was beautiful! We booked during “off season” so the rate was definitely worth the stay 🙂 there are some really good places to eat on the Island; our personal favorite was Pirates Bar & Grill. We also visited the Aquarium and Fort Gaines; both worth seeing! Also make sure to check out Skinner’s Seafood; we loaded up and took some back with us to MO. The customer service at Ship & Shore wasn’t the best but they have a lot of different items if you forgot any essentials. Make sure to check out the souvenir shop; The Sandbox! They have a lot of homemade beautiful decorations and the owner was very friendly.
My fav part of this location was being over the water; we enjoyed our morning caffeine watching dolphins and the seagulls/pelicans. Some paint needs some TLC but otherwise clean and nice! We will definitely book here again!

A great place to vacation! We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be able to fish off of the back porch and the beach access was amazing. Beds are adequately comfortable, but the bunk beds are incredibly squeaky. Otherwise, everything was nice and we would stay here again.

Location can’t be beat. Catch fish from the back deck, and play at the beach right off the front steps. We thought we would spend more time at public beaches, but with this great of a location there is no need! Watch the sun rise, and set, while listening to the waves. We appreciated the outdoor hose and shower to remove sand on the way in. Good layout for a big or multiple families.
Like prior reviews state there is visible wear on furnishings, chipped paint, mix and matched kitchen equipment. Nothing that would prevent me from booking again.
Things to note: DI police department issued us a parking pass for all the public beaches for free. We just needed to present our rental agreement.
The house has what appear to be new propane grills, tank provided, not charcoal as stated.

I read a lot of reviews before booking this. The concerns with the rental needing some TLC are valid. It was clean, but some of the appliances could be upgraded, and the place could use some fresh paint. Knives were mix-matched and not very sharp. Just keep some of that in mind to manage expectations. It is also a little walk from the parking to the place which makes unpacking/ packing a little bit of a chore- nothing you can really do about it, just part of it.
HOWEVER, the place is a 5 star in my book just based on location. You’re right on the beach. We fished off the deck. Walk downstairs and be on the beach. We watched dolphins in the morning and sunsets in the evening. Really a great location. I would not hesitate to come back.
