Description
Bayou Heron #2B is a tranquil, pet-friendly condo located on the bayside of Dauphin Island, offering stunning waterfront views of Graveline Bay. Perfect for a small family or group, this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat comfortably sleeps 5 guests.
Upon entering, you’re welcomed into an open-concept living space, featuring a modern, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of counter space and a dining area that seats 6. The cozy living room offers a relaxing spot to unwind, with a TV and large windows that provide panoramic bay views.
The master suite is a serene haven, featuring a queen bed, personal TV, and access to the rear balcony with gorgeous views of the bay. The luxurious private bathroom includes a double vanity, a corner bathtub, a shower stall, and a private toilet area. The second bedroom is a charming bunk room with a twin-over-full bunk bed, TV, and closet, making it perfect for kids or additional guests. A common bathroom with a shower-tub combo is conveniently located nearby.
The laundry room, located just off the entrance, offers a washer and dryer, as well as extra storage space. It’s the perfect spot for guests to clean their clothes and store beach gear or fishing equipment during their stay.
Step outside onto the private balcony to enjoy the peaceful waterfront scenery. Guests can also take advantage of the communal pool, small boat dock, and kayak launch next to the property. Whether you’re fishing, boating, or simply soaking up the sunset, Bayou Heron #2B offers a true Dauphin Island experience.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
House Rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per dog plus tax applies.

Conveniently located, this stay was a nice walk to most things you need. The place was spacious, came with plenty of towels, and the owners had the AC on and waiting for us! We really enjoyed the elevator to help carry all our things to the 2nd floor and the designated parking spots. We did kick the breaker a couple times when we used the microwave, washer and dryer etc. at the same time but it was an easy fix. The view off the balcony and the sunsets are spectacular!

Really nice condo! Everything was as described and very comfortable. Here are some of my favorite features:
– There is a covered parking area and an elevator! This was incredibly helpful since it rained a good bit during our stay.
– The view from the balcony is over the marshes and there are always tons of birds to see: herons, egrets, ducks, ospreys, pelicans, gulls…sitting out there in the mornings with a cup of coffee is the perfect way to wake up while on vacation.
– The master bath is enormous and there is a jacuzzi tub!
– There is comfortable living room furniture that you can actually curl up and lounge on, including a recliner.
– There are fun extras that you don’t see other places, like mini arcade and foosball games and a whole chest full of board games/puzzles/etc.
– We didn’t end up using the pool, but it looked very clean.
– It has its own dock by the marsh!
And of course, Dauphin Island is just the best place. Very chill and lots of natural beauty. We go every year!

Condo was in a great location and had pretty much all amenities you need. Loved the balcony overlooking the kayak dock and bay. Master bathroom was huge and jacuzzi tub was a plus. Master bedroom mattress was a little firm for our liking but not horrible. Did not have a dust pan for the broom but we ran the Roomba daily and that really helped keep the sand away.

My partner and I spent a week here in April and it exceeded all our expectations. The view from the balcony is beautiful and we felt very secluded and private as the units are set away from the main road. This is a perfect place to sit and enjoy nature and watch the wildlife with your morning coffee and we spent every evening outside just enjoying the peace and escaping the trappings of the day to day. The condo itself is very well equipped (we loved the smart fridge!) and we will absolutely be back to explore more of Dauphin Island and stay in this beautiful condo again. We can’t wait!
