Description
RAMBL Sunset is a beach lover’s dream, offering a seamless mix of relaxation, fun, and comfort right on the private sound-side beach of Dauphin Island. The home’s warm and welcoming interior gives off an elevated coastal vibe, filled with natural light, high ceilings, and thoughtful decor that blends traditional and modern styles. With a private pool and multiple outdoor spaces including a pergola-lit tide pool and an under-house entertainment area, RAMBL Sunset sets the stage for unforgettable family vacations and even weddings or events.
The open-concept living and dining area creates a large social hub with an oversized sectional, playful coastal accents, and a shared double-sided fireplace. The dining room’s farmhouse table comfortably seats ten, and the adjacent bar area makes for a great spot for casual conversation. The kitchen, just off the main living space, is a galley-style layout with a large central island, wall oven, and breakfast nook with bay windows that deliver direct beach views.
The sleeping arrangements at Tidal Wave include:
• East King Bedroom (First Floor): King bed, access to Jack-and-Jill bathroom with tub, shower stall, and large countertop space.
• East Bunk Room (First Floor): Two twin-over-full bunk beds with pull-out trundles, large TV, standing arcade console, and access to the Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
• NW King Suite (First Floor): Gulf-facing windows, private bathroom with a shower stall.
• SW Bunk Room (Second Floor): Single-over-full bunk bed.
• Master King Suite (Second Floor): King bed, TV, balcony access, luxurious bathroom with raised black jetted tub, panoramic views, black granite countertops, and a sleek modern design.
• East Queen Suite (Second Floor): Queen bed, TV, private balcony access, bay window beach views, private bathroom with shower-tub combo.
The outdoor experience at RAMBL Sunset is just as impressive as the inside. The first-floor deck includes covered dining, a grill, and a raised deck offering panoramic beach front views. Down below, a pergola-lit area surrounds a natural tide pool, with Adirondack chairs and a footpath leading to the private sound-side beach. This beach is perfect for younger swimmers thanks to its gentle slope and calm waters, free from rip currents and with fewer marine hazards than Gulf-side beaches. The second-floor balcony offers shaded seating areas for enjoying the view, whether it’s morning coffee or a glowing Gulf sunset.
The under-house area is more than just storage, it’s a beach hangout zone. Hammocks offer a relaxing spot with ocean views, while the game and fitness area features cornhole, giant Jenga, a punching bag, heavy rope, plyo boxes, and a pull-up bar with rings.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
Parking Instructions
The property has a driveway and parking for 8-10 cars. All overflow must be parked at Green Park next to Ship & Shore. Gulf side beach access via streets and courts only – you can park on these streets with a parking pass (we can provide). Do not walk between houses. The closest access point is across from the property at Serigny Ct (85 feet east of your driveway).

Another excellent stay at Tidal Wave! Every type of water our group could want, easily accessible—pool, lagoon, bay beach, gulf beach. Several spacious rooms to retreat to, as well as places to gather. The giant sectional is the stuff of legends. The addition of a second fridge this year made keeping our forever hungry and thirsty kids happy a breeze. Looking forward to our next visit!

This was a beautiful home and a wonderful place to stay. Each bedroom was well put together most with their own bathroom which was great for our family! The location is superb and having access to our own little section of beach was wonderful. We could of spent our entire stay just at the property and had plenty to do if we wanted. Highly recommend and plan to return in the future!

I can’t say enough about my stay at Tidal Wave! Even with chillier weather, it was a fabulous beach retreat. It was private, quiet, and incredibly serene. It rejuvenated my spirit, and I am already planning on going back in the spring and early summer. Everything was clean and pristine and tastefully decorated. It wasn’t overwhelming or kitsch. Crisp, neat, organized. It had everything we needed; it felt like a retreat. Can’t wait to go back!

I cannot imagine a better spot for a large group with varied interests and abilities! It was just as easy to cozy up and enjoy the view with the infants, as it was to splash in the gentle bay and chase hermit crabs with the toddlers, fish in the lagoon with the teens, or splash in the pool with the tweens.
There are enough rooms for everyone to have a quiet home base, and the common areas are spacious and inviting for everyone to gather and have the BEST time. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

The house is very spacious with lots of comfortable areas to relax in. The kitchen was very nice as it was in “cook ready shape.” We made dinner every night since the kitchen had the tools to be able to accomplish that. The view and the secluded nature of the house was also wonderful. There are minor cosmetic updates that need tending to (the pool deck and pool itself as well as the laundry room area), however overall the home is very welcoming and comfortable. The onsite property mgmr was awesome!! Super accommodating of our group needs.

The home itself could use a little TLC. Pool deck had paint peeling and rough deck but if you can over look somethings the house was perfect. It was big enough for our whole family. Kids loved to play in the pool and the beach. Dave was right there to answer the phone and answered all of our questions right away. Thank you for the amazing family vacation.

This was a beautiful home with lots of room for our multi-generational family to both come together and have time apart. We enjoyed our stay! We had 4 families with children and my mom and we had plenty of room to hang out and spread out. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect for the kids and late night swims. We enjoyed how close we were to the beach and the bay… a quick walk across the street to the beach. The area was quiet and serene and the stay exceeded our expectations.

We had a great time at the house. It’s big enough to accommodate everyone. Only downside was the jets not working in the hot tub and the pool not being heated until 2 days into our trip. (that was my fault partly as I thought it was heated until may). Anyways the location was great, we saw dolphins playing while we sat on the deck. The house was clean and they answered any and all calls and questions right away.
If I can afford it I will be back. Absolutely beautiful

Our stay at Tidal Wave was truly special. My family of 16 all gathered there for a Thanksgiving week vacation and had a blast. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and we walked across the street to the gulf side of the beach to play in the waves several days. The little beach on our bay side was nice too, but not necessarily to hang out for a “beach” day. House is super spacious and we had plenty of room to hang out, eat and play games as a family. The hosts were very responsive and quickly dealt with a couple heating issues we had with the pool and hot tub (just needed to add more water and be reset). Dauphin Island had some cute souvenir shops and a little food market and gas station too, and we went to the aquarium, which was fun. We even made a day trip to New Orleans one day! Mostly cooked meals at the house so I don’t have restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend staying there!

How many cars are able to park at this property? How accessible and far is the gulf beach access from this property? And can you swim on the bayside of the property? Is there a sand area for children?

There is room for about 8-10 cars to park (depending on the size of the car). The closest access point on the gulf side is across from the property at Serigny Ct (85 feet east of your driveway). Please do not walk between houses. There is an small sandy beach on the bayside behind Tidal Wave. I recommend the little ones swim on the bay side as there is a smaller chance of an undertow or rip current. Please call or text 1-800-771-1480 with any questions you might have in the future.

The Tidal wave was a wonderful space for an extended family of Eleven. Everyone had plenty of space. The house itself could use a few updates but the set up was perfect for what we wanted for our relaxing family vacation.

Peaceful Getaway
We just had an amazing getaway at this house! It felt very private and had such gorgeous views especially at sunset! The pool was one of the biggest reasons we booked this house and the kids loved it! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed! I would definitely stay here again!
