Neutral Ground is a nicely furnished beach house on the canal, a very attractive waterfront 3 bedroom home. This waterfront home is on a boat-canal, yet a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico beach, or also the Bay. It also enjoys a partial Bay view. The waterfront deck has seating at a table with Sunbrella for enjoying a scenic meal, and there are comfortable cushioned chairs and a sofa to further relax and enjoy the views. Underneath the house is additional space to enjoy the Island life, including shaded hammocks, a boat dock, and slip, kayaks are available to rent on the island, and an outdoor shower to rinse off and cool down after an Island excursion. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, with all new furnishings and decorations, including area artwork that really adds to the Island decor. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms- a Master Bedroom with a King bed and an ensuite bath, a canal-view bedroom with a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom with a Duo-bunk (Full/twin) and another bunk bed (two twins). This is a great Dauphin Island home- whether you are bringing a boat, or would just like to enjoy water access and a short walk to the Gulf beach, Neutral Ground will be a great place for your family to enjoy Dauphin Island. Please Note: The Rooftop Crow’s Nest is NOT Accessible.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Monday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
10. Rooftop Crow’s Nest is NOT Accessible.
11. Cargo lifts are not available to guests and can not be used. They are not permitted by Home Owner Insurance Policies.
Parking is allowed in the driveway and under the house. 4 cars maximum. Any overflow of cars will have to be parked at Green Park next to Ship and Shore. Closest Beach access is St. Stephens St, 0.1 miles from the house.
