Description

The Boat House is a completely remodeled (2022) 4/2 beach house right on the beach. The views are gorgeous and you can walk right down your back stairs out to the waves. The house enjoys vaulted ceilings, abundant natural light, vibrant beach decor, and comfortable furnishings throughout! The dining room has a walkout slider giving you a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico. The house has new flooring and countertops, and cabinets, so you can count on being happy and able to relax on a wonderful beach vacation!

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
10. Cargo lifts are not available to guests and can not be used. They are not permitted by Home Owner Insurance Policies.

Driveway has room for 2 to 3 vehicles. Overflow parking at Green Park.

    It was such a nice quiet area. loved that my mother could sit under the deck and still be apart of the activities without getting sun burnt!! House was beautiful and we can’t wait to come back!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!!!

    We absolutely love The Boat House and book it every time we visit Dauphin Island! The location is perfect, the house is comfortable and well-maintained, and it truly feels like a home away from home.     The pictures on the website are deceiving from what the house really looks like. The sewer piping was broken under the house before we got there. It stayed broke till Thursday. The sewer was backed up and we had to park on the street. We should have been given another house to stay in till this one was fixed. The dishes were dirty. The propane bottle was empty. We got a new one that Wednesday. Outside lights and under the house didn’t work. I believe we should get some type of refund whether iota our deposit or a reduced price on another house when we come back in the future.

We see where you reported the sewer issue on the night of June 28 and the immediate issues were inspected. On July 3, it was discovered and addressed that the sewer line on the Town’s side was causing the issues for the property’s sewage. We deeply regret this was your experience.     We love dauphin island. We had a pretty good stay overall. There were quite a few appliances that didn’t work or were broken but I notified the owner at the end of our stay and they said they’ll send someone out to fix/replace each thing. All communication was quick and respectful. We enjoyed our stay.

    This rental was a great home to be on vacation. It was right along the beach, and the public beach was within a short walking distance. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. My car got stuck in sand within the first hour of arriving, and the neighbor helped pull it out. The main road has a bicycles lane so you can bike from one end of the island to the other. The home itself was well furnished and even had different beach themed rooms. One room has a bunk bed which my child loved going up to. It had a full kitchen with a blender, coffee maker, toaster, oven, and all the kitchen tools you might need.

    Well we all felt so great staying at this place, felt home, being so close to sea shore is the key and close to the edge of the Iceland was great experience.
    House was clean, communication was great, internet was little slow for laptop which turned out to be good coz we thought we can work but I took off due to that reason and I did enjoyed the stay.

    Loved our stay right on the beach, listening to the waves day and night! Beautiful breezes, beautiful sunset! The house is lovely and fully appointed. Everything needed for a lovely vacation already in the home. There were a few areas were upkeep was needed, but I’m certain the owner will address those in short order

    We loved the house being so close to the beach. Enjoyed setting on the deck and watching the kids play in the sand. It would have been to have more chairs on the deck. We only had 3. Overall very nice.

    Awesome location, on the beach and at the far west end. Easy access for long walks down the west end without public parking.
