Sunny Side Up II is a cozy, bayfront retreat on Lafitte Bay—perfect for fishing trips, family getaways, or a relaxing escape by the water. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home is thoughtfully decorated and designed to make the most of its waterfront location, with sunrise views and direct access to the bay from your own private deck and boat slip.
Guests enter up the interior stairs into a light and airy common area. The living room features a large sectional, TV, and beautiful views of the bay, while the U-shaped kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals after a day on the water. The dining area is perfectly placed by the windows so guests can enjoy a waterfront view with every meal.

• SW Bunk Room – Two full-over-full bunk beds, TV, closet
The shared bathroom includes a double vanity, a walk-in shower, and houses a washer and dryer for guest convenience. A second full bathroom is located on the ground level, featuring a shower-tub combo, making cleanup after a beach or boating day even more convenient.
Outside, guests can unwind on the covered balcony with bay views and shaded seating. Under the house, you’ll find a picnic table, grill, outdoor shower, and swing—perfect for post-beach relaxation or cleaning up after a day of fishing. The deck includes a cleaning station and boat slip, making this the ultimate setup for anglers or anyone who wants to spend their days on the water.
Sunny Side Up II offers everything you need for a laid-back, waterfront stay with unbeatable sunrise views and direct bay access.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is not pet-friendly.

We absolutely enjoyed this house! The furniture and other amenities were spot on, and very comfortable. We really appreciated the ice maker, the garbage disposal, and the dishwasher, as you don’t always get those in some of these houses. The dishwasher did take some effort to get working, but it did with a hard push on the “start” button. The bathroom downstairs was a huge plus for us, as we fish from sun up to sun down! The only down for us was the TV streaming. When you fish as much as us, we like local news that gives fishing reports, but thankfully, we have dish anywhere app and was able to pull that up on a laptop. We’ll bring an extra laptop next time to hook up to the TV for our Dish. Overall, we absolutely loved this house and it was perfect for our needs!!! We are already saying we are going to book this house again and again! Thanks to the owners and thanks to the rental company for an amazing vacation.

We rented Sunny Side Up II, mainly for the dock & Boat Slip. We caught “bait fish” and crabs sunup to sundown. The slip worked out well for our 24’ Sea Pro, so convenient! A big plus, having a fish cleaning station and fresh water access on the dock. We utilized the kayaks provided and had a blast paddling around the bay, cooling off in the little swim area next to the slip then rinsing off in the enclosed outdoor shower. The layout of the house is very spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out. Plenty of comfy seating (inside and out) & lots of towels. We appreciated the collection of games, books and DVDs as well as the “safety gate” doors at the top of the stairs and balcony. The only issue we had was wanting to stay longer lol… Our family of 9 most certainly enjoyed our stay and will be renting again in the near future.

We had a good time. It is a very interesting water area. Oil rigs, bay with 6’ depth overall. Awesome with the access to water. Fishing for reds was on point. Watch out for the step to the dock. I faceplanted. Part of it.
