Inside, the home features a fresh, open layout with light-filled rooms and beachy finishes throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped for home-cooked meals, and the living area is designed for movie nights, card games, and easy conversation. As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2. A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit – $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
Parking Instructions
The driveway will accommodate 4 vehicles. You can access the beach by walking down the path that runs in front of the property.

What a lovely get away. The communication with the property manager was great. I let them know upon arrival that I noticed the side door had a broken door knob and one of the bedroom doors appeared to have damage, they appreciated it and offered for maintenance to come by. I said to wait until I left. The house was the perfect size. My senior dogs had a difficult time with the outside stairs due to them being open between each step, but I figured it out. There are great restaurants close by and the Dollar General isn’t too far which had more grocery options. I will say I kept thinking how nice it would be to live down there!

It is recommended that you bring your own beach supplies or rent them during your stay at Boa Vista. There is a small grocery store on Dauphin Island. Ship and Shore also serves as the local hardware store.

We really enjoyed our stay – however, I will say, this place is pretty outdated and needs some updates (i.e chips in the doors, stains on ceilings). It was fine for us and our dog and most beach houses typically have wear and tear. The walk to the beach wouldn’t be suitable for all, very deep sand and is a longer walk than described.

Fridge not usable due to dead fish smell, furniture was dirty from previous pets, and had issues with ants. The walk to the beach was very deceiving from the listing details. The host was very responsive and willing and help but wasn’t worth 1900 for 4 nights.

We wanted to share an update to this review. Our team has conducted a deep clean of the property. During this deep clean we were able to remove the smell from the fridge and address the furniture. We have also made adjustment to the cleaning staff to ensure the highest quality is maintained at the property.
On top of the cleanliness updates, we also work with a pest control company to address the ant issue.
The listing has also been reviewed to ensure the beach path and walk to the beach is accurately depicted.
We do hope to have you back again and want to share that our team is on the island and available to address any guest concerns.

This was a sweet little spot for my family! Plenty of fresh towels and extra blankets and a tv in every room! The location was perfect, I could watch my kids walk to and from the beach from the house deck. The area felt very safe. The experience was exactly what we wanted for our spring break!

Can you tell me if this particular BEACH is dog friendly? I know some beaches have designated areas were dogs allowed and other beaches will not permit dogs at all.

The beach near Boa Vista is dog friendly provided the dog is leashed and cleaned up after by the owner. The only beach on Dauphin Island that does not allow dogs is the paid West End Beach at the very western tip of the island.

Enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. The house was in good condition and ready. Adding a shower downstairs (outdoor) would be the next step. A garden hose is adequate but a simple shower head is better.

This place was great for our family. Short walk to the beach with a trail at the end of the street. I loved that the deck had a locking gate for my toddler. There was a tropical storm in the Gulf during our stay and they made sure to send us updates regarding possible flooding and warnings which was fantastic. They even told us if need be where to take our vehicles. Love this place!

We had a fantastic time at Boa Vista. With just a two minute walk to the beach, we were able to easily get back and forth to the house. The place was well air-conditioned, clean, and had everything our family of five needed for a three day stay over Memorial Weekend. The beach was so quiet, too. There were mostly just families and couples spending a relaxing time near the water. Perfect family vacation! We will be repeat customers, for certain!

This was a great place to stay! A small trek to the beach that would be a little difficult for anyone not in great shape. I was quite out of breath with carrying everything to the beach! Very clean and nice community. I would stay here again.

This trip was so special to my family. With my 1 year olds first beach trip and also my older sister having autism the gate around the porch was absolutely perfect for them and the dogs to be able to play and see the water!
We cooked and spent so much time together it was a beautiful weekend! My one recommendation is to stop at a grocery store before entering the island as the local shop can be a bit expensive but fine for necessities. Will definitely be staying again in the years to come! Thank you!

This property is literally right on the beach. Its a 2 minute walk to the water. You can see beautiful sunsets from the porch. The house has everything we needed. We had one little hiccup with the dishwasher but the property manager sent someone out literally in minutes and solved the issue. Communication was excellent. Overall a great place to stay!

Boa Vista has just that, good views! We mainly choose it for it’s location, i.e., walkable to the beach, but we enjoyed the views as well. The house is small, but doesn’t have much clutter, making it ideal for small children. It was perfect for our family of three and our dog, although it can hold more. The gate on the deck allowed our dog to enjoy the view with us. The house had everything we needed for our stay. However, we recommend picking up some groceries before heading to the island, bringing all your own beach gear (refer to the packing list provided), and maybe packing an umbrella in case of showers.
