Hi, I was wondering if the Gulf beach (where this house is located) is private or public beach? Is it busy/crowded during the middle of September? If so, our dates are flexible for October, if the crowds thin a bit more. Any info would be great. Thanks!
Adam says
At Last is on the Bay Side. The Bay side beaches are pretty secluded and great for quiet time. The waterfront properties are private, but the land along the water is an easement for people to go up and down the beach. Sometimes you will have neighbors around you, but there is always plenty of space. October is a great time of year to come. Dauphin Island is popular for Fall Break, but even then, it’s quieter than summer (which isn’t bad either since the island is essentially a beach house community).

Can we go across the road to the beach side?
Adam says
You would walk to Sam Houston St and cross there. It is 350ft from your driveway.
