The latest NOAA chartpredicts the oil "sheen" to be just south of Mobile Bay by Thursday, June 4th, with Dauphin Island and Gulf Shores both remaining outside the outer edges of the spill.
This is somewhat better than yesterday's chart, which had forecast Gulf Shores would be impacted by Wednesday, so it has moved a little further south, but we may be impacted this time around, it is too early to tell. There has been an intermittent smell in the air, presumably from the oil, it smells sort of like melted candle wax.
